    * Not good for energetic children * Rude booking agent! I would have given our tour 3 stars, because it wasn’t bad just a little disappointing. But when I called Aloha Sunshine Tours to voice my concerns I was amazed at how “respectfully” rude Jayson was. Our tour guide started by being 45 minutes late, but she was nice and knowledgeable. We visited Pearl Harbor for a somber, once in a life time opportunity and then we were able to do a little shopping at the stadium. We didn’t get to see everything we wanted to, but I enjoyed hearing about the island’s history. Unfortunately our children (ranging 8-12) got bored with the history lesson about half way through the day. It was a lot of riding and site seeing from the bus. Our guide was nice and let the kids have 20 minutes to swim at a beach, when we asked. When I called to voice my opinion about the tour description, Jayson was very vocal in telling me how disrespectful our children were and how they should have appreciated getting the lesson from a native. He also said he would never have given his children a phone to entertain them during the tour and that our expectations were unrealistic (after our family of 8 paid almost $4000 for the day) As a mom and a teacher I can tell you that a child’s attention span is not meant to absorb 6 hours of information while seeing it go by in the window. After listening to Jayson critique our parenting skills and “respectfully” (his words) accuse us of unrealistic expectations, I had to hang up the phone as he was literally screaming to get his point across. As we toured Oahu today our guide told us that only 17% of the natives are left on the islands to spread happiness and the others have gone to spread happiness wherever they go. It’s an island motto! Maybe Jayson should take a tour! She also taught us some Hawaiian words including: Ohana- Family, Pua- Flower, and A Hui Hoe- until we meet again. I can tell you we will never A Hui Hoe Aloha Sunshine Tours again!!!!!

    Great tour starting with the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation and then lots of stops throughout Oahu. Our guide, Johnny Aloha, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and fun. He let us dictate most of the day for a unique tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

    Aloha. OUR tour guide Anthony Mendez ( Tremendous), gave us a wonderful trip around Oahu. We enjoyed our tour so much. He really showed us some amazing sites and great places to eat. We will truly treasure the memories we made that day. Anthony was so friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. ALOHA Sunshine tours communicated with us and rearranged our tour at Pearl Harbor after we had a delayed flight that morning. Everything worked out great. We appreciate the great service from the tour company and our awesome guide. Best wishes to you all and our continued prayers for Maui.

    USS Arizona Memorial

    The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship.
