Santuario Basilica Madonna della Corona

Madonna della Corona Sanctuary in Spiazzi truly is a wonder of nature, nested in the Monte Baldo mountains. An exciting tour, that you must add to your bucket list. We will start the tour from the car parking, we will have a nice walk of about 20 minutes to reach the Sanctuary. After visiting the building and living the peace and harmony of this place, we will visit a typical “Azienda Agricola” (farmhouse) nearby. The local producer will offer us for lunch typical products of the Monte Baldo, together with a good glass of wine, in an amazing position with view on the lake. You will have the chance to buy the products and relax in the nice garden, or having a walk in the surrounding countryside.

Nice experience, we ate very well in a local restaurant and then we visited the Sanctuary, very suggestive!

Enchanting sanctuary that for years I noticed in the car on the Brenner motorway. Magnificent, set in stone at almost 900 meters above sea level on Mount Baldo. We left for "the Path of Hope" from the town of Brentino Belluno (VR). There are all parking spaces at a cost of €4 for the whole day. You go up from the town, a well-indicated route, for a difference in altitude of almost 800 meters and you follow 1600 steps (hi hi hi). With a gentle, relaxed pace with many breaks you arrive at the Sanctuary in approximately 2 hours. Beautiful journey. If you have trekking shoes, it is not a difficult route, almost anyone can do it if they are a little trained for the steep mountain climb. My 9 year old daughter struggled but she arrived so I don't think it's a via ferrata for Reihold Messner. Don't go up with slippers or sandals, the path is full of rocks. Once you arrive at the beautiful Sanctuary you will find a small bar (with sandwiches, ice cream) and WC with fountains to refill your water bottles. Wonderful place !!!

Ho fatto recentemente il pellegrinaggio 'Sentiero di Maria' ed è stata una esperienza assolutamente unica. Tre giorni di cammino da Verona al Santuario della Madonna della Corona, passando per Bussolengo e Rivoli Veronese. Un insieme di fatica, misticismo e felicità. Una realtà che non avevo mai provato. Impegnativo, ma altamente soddisfacente. E' alla portata di tutti, purché si abbia salute e dimestichezza al cammino intenso. Quando si arriva a vederlo dal Sentiero della Speranza, manca il fiato da quanto è bello!

Salendo dal Lago di Garda e' tutto un susseguirsi di panorami incantevoli...poi si arriva a Spiazzi e si intraprende il "cammino>" comodo per arrivare al Santuario (dico "comodo"perche' ce ne sono due ,il secondo non l'ho ancora fatto ....)....il Santuario e' "unico2 sia come posizione che come atmosfera,al di la' della fede religiosa....richiama al profondo intimo che appartiene ad ognuno di noi.Si completa la giornata con gita al Lago ...che e' bello ovunque,ma il primo Paese da qui e' Garda.... Un posto magico,un posto che ti resta dentro.

Visibile dall'autostrada del Brennero incastonato nella roccia, se non volete camminare troppo salite in macchina sino al parcheggio di FERRARA DI MONTE BALBO località Spiazzi e da li potete prendere la navetta che porta fino al Santuario edificato nella roccia o volendo potete scendere lungo la strada circa 1,5 km e vedere le Stazioni raffiguranti i misteri del Rosario che portano al Santuario ed eventualmente tornare al parcheggio con la navetta Il Santuario non è molto grande ma molto caratteristico e lo si raggiunge dopo l'attraversamento di una breve galleria e una scalinata all'interno potete vedere la scala Santa e delle belle opere e vetrate

Camminata possibile di diverso tipo e difficoltà...noi siamo saliti con un dislivello di 600mt da brentino Belluno ...camminata media di due ore con tanti tanti scalini e tante pause ma un paesaggio che ti avvolge tutta la camminata...ma si può anche optare per un sentiero più corto da spiazzi...unica pecca anche se più facile parti in discesa e finisci in salita e poi la vista del primo è assolutamente impareggiabile. ARRIVO comunque al santuario da visitare incastonato nella roccia con una sua bella storia da ascoltare ....se potete evitare il grande caldo per me la salita si gode di più...buona passeggiata

Esperienza bellissima! Posto magico immerso nel verde e costruito lungo una parente di un monte! Bella la chiesa all'interno, bella veduta e per chi se la sente e può farlo bella camminata con il Sentiero della Speranza (1500) gradini!!! Altrimenti arrivate a Spiazzi, parcheggiate e...mettetevi in cammino per 20/30 minuti in discesa (poi però bisogna risalire!) passate in un tunnel scavato nel monte ed ecco che appare la chiesetta con la sua scalinata! Da vedere almeno una volta nella vita!!!

Per giungere al santuario abbiamo deciso di effettuare la camminata a piedi posteggiando l'auto nell'ampio posteggio di brentino Belluno : salita ripida e i famosi 1760 scalini caratterizzano questo sentiero che passa tra il bosco da cui ogni tanto si vede qualche scorcio dalla valle . Sebbene l'altezza, non è così vertiginoso (per chi come me soffre di vertigini). Durata prevista 1.45h ma con un passo svelto si arriva a destinazione anche prima . Partendo presto si incontra poca gente sul sentiero, nonostante il periodo di alta stagione, mentre sulla via del ritorno è già più popolato . Giungere a destinazione tuttavia vale tutti gli sforzi e in un attimo dimentichi la fatica semplicemente guardando il suggestivo santuario, incastonato nella roccia. Dotato di toilette, bar , zone di sosta, negozio di souvenir, nonché ovviamente possibilità di confessarsi , seguire la messa. La stessa via al ritorno è sicuramente più veloce e leggera .
