    Along the way the scenery from Northern Italy to Swiss little town St. Moritz is absolutely gorgeous. This is a very nice trip so I would highly recommend it! The only little problem is the tour guide was a bit late to show up(7:30a.m. departure, she shows up 7:20a.m., so 2 of our tour mates actually joined another tour because people normally checked in much earlier and we all arrived 15 -20 mins earlier than scheduled time) The Bernina train ride was 2.5 hours and time in St. Moritz was a bit less than 2 hours probably because we needed to pick up the 2 missing tour mates. So if the total time roaming around in St. Moritz could be 1 hour longer, that would be even better.

    Stunning scenery. Lack of communication and organization really took away from our experience. The guide and company could have provided so much more information regarding bathrooms, (not on bus nor any where near meeting location) prior to getting on a 2 1/2 hr bus ride. Our guide did not have any kind of ‘flag’ or microphone and she was very lax about moving us around. We only had 90 mins in St. Moritz, ( which we were aware of) so being prepared with local information PRIOR to arrival would have saved us valuable visit time. For example, perhaps a list/text of highlights in area (including time required for activity) , a list of quick grab and go meal options. Many used entire time trying to find a place to eat and waiting for service. We really wanted to ‘enjoy’ St. Moritz but we’re so rushed as we felt so unprepared. The guide has local knowledge, for example, she went right away for a sandwich from the train station after we arrived by bus prior to getting on train. to St. Moritz. She didn’t suggest anything to our group. I felt like she should have shared her insights and we would have spent less time wandering. She was knowledgeable regarding the history of area.

    I took this tour Solo but, I meeta great girl who let me used her jacket, was cold in the Alps. The whole trip from the started to the very end was one of my best seaside in Italy and Switzerland. Thanks to Clara and Claudio for their care for the whole bus tour.

    Good guide and driver. Excellence experience with fantastic views. All itineraries are properly spaced with time for lunch and toilet stop.

    In the early afternoon departure with the RED TRAIN. Known as the most beautiful train in the world. The train that "climbs the mountain" facing slopes of 70 per thousand touching the sky up to 2,253 meters high, the highest point reached by a train in Europe. The route St. Moritz-Tirano is a path that offers the opportunity to be amazed by the diversity that nature offers us.
