Segesta was above average. The Castle at Erice was closed...waste of time...would like a partial refund. Salt Flats which I thought would not be interesting, was very good. The tour of the museum was educational and the guide was funny. For as long as the day was, I wouldn't do it again, for free! Our driver Massimo was a great driver.

We had a wonderful experience with Dario our driver. He was very careful on the roads and was helpful with assisting us with pictures at some of our stops. Highly recommend!

We recently enjoyed a day tour from Palermo to Segesta, Erice, Trapani and salt pans. Our tour guide was Mirko. He was fabulous. He spoke fluent English, pointed out all of the highlights and answered all of our questions. He made our day trip memorable. I will feel very comfortable in recommending Viator to all of my family and friends. Thank you Mirko for helping us create wonderful memories!

The driver spoke English but apparently only knew the present tense. I left something behind (my identification) in Segesta. He appeared to understand and said “We go to Segesta.” He never turned back to Segesta. He meant me to understand that we had already been to Segesta. Beyond that, he did not understand that I had to go back.

An excellent tour. Our driver was lovely and looked after us very well. The temple is truly amazing and the view over the salt pans in the late afternoon was charming.

Our drivers, Dmitri and Francesco were absolutely wonderful! We had a large group of adults so we needed two vans. They kept our group together and stayed on track. The vans were super roomy and comfy!

We initially thought this was a bit pricey, but we got a personal tour for a day in a chauffeur driven Mercedes. Our driver Francesco was very nice. Worth the money.

We had an excellent experience with Viator’s private, full day tour to Segesta, Erice, Trapani and the salt pans outside of the town of Trapani. We booked two days prior for this Sunday tour bc another arrangement cancelled on short notice. Viator confirmed the tour with a driver. We requested a private guide and a van and they said they would do their best to provide these. We were happy to be picked up in a large van with a competent guide. Our driver Mirko was an excellent driver, his English was perfect, he and our guide Vanda were personable, knowledgeable, generous and went above and beyond to show us every last place on the itinerary, even though it meant going past 5pm. We would book with Viator again without hesitation, and can recommend Mirko and Vanda for making our day a remarkable experience.

Mirko, our driver, was the added value to this trip. He answered questions, explained sites along the the way, and made helpful suggestions. We enjoyed his humor as well. Segeste and Erice were particularly enjoyable. Trapani less so, most likely as we were in off-season and were there in the afternoon when most sites and businesses were closed.

It was great with lots of cordial assistance needed and happily provided after a slide and fall down on a wet ramp earlier in the week outside the il Gesu church in Roma. Francesco searched for a nice Sunday lunch restaurant in Trapani and found one for us. Yum! Thank you. And what can be said about Segesta and the Elymians? Wow! The salt flats were a whole new world we never knew existed.
