    This was the most amazing gastronómical experience of our life. These little baddies that they call "pintxos" really surprised us. We even went for pintxos again the next morning ! Thank you Ana Luisa!

    A good friend strongly recommended us to visit San Sebastain and Pamplona. Given so much insistence we decided to listen to him. And on our first night we decided to do this pintxo tour. We found it amazing how many different options and flavors there were to choose from. Even so, we went with an expert guide who recommended the best ones. We were very surprised.

    We like walking food tours of new cities we’re visiting. Nothing helps you get familiar with a town than wandering around for a few hours with a local guide, who can show off culinary specialties and speak from long experience about what makes their community special. It’s the thing that made Anthony Bourdain’s TV work so compelling. The Good Tour Co. delivered for Pamplona! Jenny, our guide, is a student and native Basque. She guided us through the old city with aplomb, and filled us up with Pintxos, the region’s distinctive small-plate speciality. (Don’t call it Tapas!) There is much food and drink on this tour. When dinner-time came later, we were familiar enough with the cuisine to order with confidence. She even indulged our interest in Hemingway by slipping us into a small bar in which Papa H lived while visiting for the festival of San Fermin. All in all, a great afternoon, well spent in Pamplona.
