My wife and I wanted a different kind of experience in Rome, and we got just that ... a fun and exhilarating time in our vintage car ride. Our guide and driver Gabriele picked us up from near our hotel and drove us to two stunning volcanic lakes - Lake Albano and Lake Nemi and nearby villages. We experienced wild boars crossing the road (quite unexpected but scary and fun), locals and tourists oohing and aahing over the car and incredible views along the way. Being a local lad, he was very proud of his heritage and it showed by the passion and depth of knowledge of history past and present. If you want something outside the norm, this is an adventure for you.

His knowledge about every place we visited was top-notch, and his infectious energy added an extra layer of excitement. A truly different way of seeing everything Rome has to offer from the best local tour guide, in our experience, Gabriel. As a life-long Roman and coupled with his historical and modern perspectives of Rome, you are transported in time as Gabriel drives you through the streets of Rome and the breathtaking countryside of Lake Albano, which is a small volcanic crater lake in the Alban Hills of Lazio, at the foot of Monte Cavo. Castel Gandolfo, overlooks the lake, and is the site of the Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo. Gabriel is a true craftsman and gentleman. My wife and I not only enjoyed our journey with Gabriel, the local food and dining experience on our stop was truly priceless. You’re truly immersed into the fabric of Rome. Highly recommended!

What an amazing day trip. From start to finish they were so accommodating!!! Picked us up at our hotel and spent a great day together in Roman hills and lake region with awesome cars which drew attention from everyone.
