We (a couple) had a wonderful day with Marco. We visited his winery, a small winery cellar door in town and a third winery. He also dropped us off at a restaurant in Nave for us to have a solo lunch break. Marco was wonderful - it felt like we were spending the day with a very knowledgable old friend. We were lucky enough to have a private tour - just us and Marco. Marco’s winery - Cascina Galarin - was the best stop of the day! We would recommend the tour for wine lovers who want to learn a lot about the types of wine specific to the region and the wine making process (rather than tourists wanting to have a day sampling a lot of wines). Our only feedback is that a modest lunch should be included in the tour given the price.

The PERFECT start to our week in the region! Our hostess was personable, knowledgeable and a true joy! The experience was truly ideal!

Our wine tour with Marco was truly one of the highlights of our honeymoon! He took us to 3 wineries including his own and we learned so much about the Piedmont region, their wines/winemaking and Italy overall. The tour was so incredibly beautiful and informative but also so much fun! We had an awesome lunch at a local restaurant with Marco and we had the best time chatting and getting to know him more - he is a wealth of knowledge! We loved all of the wines we tried and he is kindly shipping us a bunch to enjoy at home. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you again Marco!

This TA wine focused tour was beyond our expectations. MARCO met us at the ALBA train station (we used CENTRO TORINO as home base) in his glistening van and off we went on a highly educational and visually rich tour of the rolling hillside vineyards of Piedmont. We touched the sun basking grapes and the fabled varied soils. We met and tasted with several wine makers whose passion is liquid art. Our day was full, varied but not too strenuous. A great vista lunch was followed by more winery explorations. Marco is a thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind local soul. Full of history, anecdotes and passion. We had a VERY SPECIAL DAY!

What a great time we had with Giovanni! We toured several wineries, walked in the vineyards, learned a lot from each of the winemakers and had a lovely lunch in Neive. We were impressed with Giovanni's deep knowledge and openness about how wine is made in Barolo and Barbaresco. If you are an oenophile, this is a great tour with a budding talent!

Marco was our guide. Very knowledgeable & congenital. Visited small, high level wineries with very nice wine tastings. Lunch was at a wonderful, authentic local providential restaurant & the food was outstanding. A very enjoyable day. Highly recommended.

Marco was a great guide. Our pick up was punctual, and the wine tasting was very generous at both Marco’s winery and the other vineyard we visited. Lunch was great, and Marco was passionate about this wine area.

Marco was very helpful not only explaining the process of wine making but also being a translator through out the trip. Seeing the different ways the wine is made with the added bonus of the beautiful scenery made the experience truly remarkable.

My girlfriend and I had a great day with Marco as guide on his home ground. As a winemaker himself, Marco managed with charm to share his in-depth knowledge of the wines and winemaking traditions in the region. We visited some friendly family owned wine farms where we had the opportunity to taste a variety of wines and where we got the option to buy the wines we liked the most - and we did :-) Between the wine farms Marco picked some great spots at which we had great views of the area and a place we had a lovely traditional italian lunch. Truly a great experience - do not miss this Yours Sincerely, The Danes

Marcos pick us up from our hotel in La Morra. We joined another couple, which made it even more fun. First, you should know this region is crazy beautiful. Views upon views! Marcos explained the wines and their regions carefully and accurately. We enjoyed tradition Piedmont food at our lunch stop in Barbaresco. Then in to Marcos’ own vineyard, which produces excellent wine as well. His English was excellent, he was well informed about the region and the wine making process. Highly recommend!
