We took this tour yesterday, and it was awesome!! We loved Sicily. Sam, our tour guide was so sharp and interesting. We all loved him! He is young but very knowledgeable. The town of Taormina was so cool, with great shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour if you spend a day in Sicily.

Unfortunately this was a horrible experience. Can’t believe Viator endorses this tour company. We booked in November of 2023 a private tour. We were in communication the past 2 weeks and set a time and meeting point . When we arrived the tour company informed us that the private tour driver was in an accident and we could not go on private tour. He said he had a similar group tour we could go on . When we got on the group tour 3 other said the same tour company told them that there driver had an accident as well. This is a scam. They sign people up under private tour and then place them on group tour. The did refund all money for viator tour and cut them out and then made us pay cash for new tour.( They would not refund partial for group tour. ). This is a classic bait and switch and they make it look like we requested cancellation to viator. Do not book this tour or tour company. This was a once and a lifetime trip and am I very disappointed with Viator and I will look at other sources to meet my tour needs.

We misunderstood this tour-we thought we were getting a guide, but it was basically a taxi service. The driver was extremely friendly & polite, the vehicle was in great condition, but we got dropped off at the entrance into Taormina & were told to explore on our own. When we returned to Messina, instead of getting taken around the old town, it was pointed out and we once again were on our own. The restaurant he pointed out to us to use for lunch only had a limited menu & was disappointing.
If all you want is a driving service, then this is the tour to book.
