    Karl was fantastic. It was just my husband and I so it was so personal and we had a blast. He is very knowledgeable and funny and such a delight to hang out with. Would definitely recommend and ask for Karl!

    This tour was incredible! Our guide Karl was very knowledgeable and provided us with tons of context and information about the history and architecture of Genoa. Karl has such an infectious energy and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the conversations with him, so fun! We had plenty of refreshments sprinkled through the tour including coffee, a platter of focaccia, Prosecco, wine, olives, cheese, pesto and Gelato. It was completely worth it and I would highly highly recommend this tour!

    Karl was an amazing guide and host!!! Provided historical and architectural context to the buildings and cathedrals we visited. Got to sample foccacia, ,pesto and gelato with a couple of glasses of Prosecco for good measure. This was definitely one of the best city tours I’ve taken. I’m would HIGHLY recommend!!

    Karl was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to have as our guide. He has an obvious love and passion for all things Genoa including the history as well as the future of the city and the residents. The food that he introduced to us was absolutely delicious and it was refreshing to see his rapport with the shop owners and locals. Karl took us to see magnificent sights including churches, museums, and scenic spots perfect for photo opportunities. We exchanged information with Karl in case we’re lucky enough to visit sweet Genoa again.

    Great tour of Genoa! Our guide Karl was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. He shared the history of the city in a way that was easy to follow and understand. The local restaurants he took us to were great - the pesto on fresh bread was amazing. Ask for Karl if you can!
