An amazing trip, helped especially by our very knowledgeable, and friendly guide Alessandro who gave us plenty of time in each place, and offered longer if needed. Take suitable extra shoes for the water during the gorge walk and possibly swimwear if you wish to go deeper. It is chilly on the top of Etna so take a warm top (even in July). Alessandro kindly lent his jacket and nothing was too much trouble all day. The tasting experience really rounded off the day and all four of us agreed it had been a great day. PS We did take the cable car and jeep option to the top of Etna - so pleased we did - the views and experience were worth it.

What a fantastic day. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. We trekked with her instead of the alternative options for Mt Etna. Beautiful views. The tasting was wonderful in a lovely restaurant. Alcantara River was a bit crowded but still an awesome natural wonder. We returned exhausted and happy.
