See the shaping and salting rooms, then step into the stagionatura where thousands of wheels age to perfection. Learn about the rigorous tests performed by the Consorzio, including the hammering of cheese wheels before the iconic fire branding ritual. Langhirano

We will proceed to the idyllic hills of Langhirano or Felino, home of Prosciutto di Parma Ham. Continue your gastronomic journey with an introduction to the history of Parma Ham, led by an expert guide. The tour begins in the cold phase, where fresh meat is processed. Watch as the finest cuts are selected for Parma Ham production, and observe the machines used for salting and refrigeration. Next, visit the aging rooms, filled with the distinct aromas of the ham. The guide explains the "battitura" process during aging, which leads to the coveted "crown" of Parma Ham.
