A great tour, Luís was friendly and had a superb knowledge of the food and drinks as well as the history of Lisbon. We had a really sociable group and it was a great way to get to know Lisbon better. Highly recommend this tour definitely worth the money.

This was a really fun food tour! It was a small group tour and had a really nice mix of history of Lisbon and the local food. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun and we went to some parts of the city we had not explored yet. Not a crazy amount of walking and no steep hills. We enjoyed it.

Bruno was an amazing tour guide and helped us all to enjoy our experience. He was patient, friendly, and very informative. We learned a lot about the history of Portugal and we are happy with the experience.

We had a blast on this food/drink tour with Carla. She took us to some great out of the way spots that without her we didn’t find while out by ourselves. She knows the area like the back of her hand and is very knowledgeable. All of the food and drink locations were very good and we returned to a few on our own again. I would highly recommend Carla. We had a great time with many laughs.

A tour is only ever as good as its guide and Carla was wonderful. She wove cultural, historical and food information together whilst guiding us through different areas of Lisboa. It was obvious how much she loved her city which is why it’s always worthwhile having a local guide because of the personal insights they offer. Unlike other food tours I’ve taken, the sample sizes of both food and alcohol were very generous! Our first stop was for prosciutto and cheese & quince paste with port wine, followed by cod cakes with green wine; the delightful Portuguese cherry liqueur Ginjinha; samosas; pork sandwiches (bifanas) and saving the best for last, Portugal’s famous custard tarts, (pasteis de nata). There is quite a bit of walking over four hours but nothing too strenuous and it was only the heat that made it a little uncomfortable. So all I can say is that this tour made for an excellent first taste of Lisboa!
