Area Sacra di Largo Argentina

Largo di Torre Argentina is the fascinating bustling square where your tour will start. It is the location of a number of ruins from the Republican era in Rome and is where Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44BC.

Antico Quartiere Ebraico

Moving into the heart of the Jewish Ghetto you will come to Piazza Mattei and the Fontana Delle Tartarughe (The Turtle Fountain). As you discover the most interesting sites in the neighborhood, your guide will tell you the moving history of the area.

Trastevere

You will then cross over the Tiber into Trastevere, one of Rome’s most authentic neighbourhoods and wander through the streets frequented by artists, students and locals. You will see one of the city’s oldest churches at the heart of the area, Santa Maria in Trastevere.

Your tour will finish at Campo de’ Fiori, a favorite meet-up spot for locals and always busy with a number of bars and restaurants on the square.
