Piazza Bra

To visit Verona it is natural to start from the central Piazza Bra, which blends buildings from different eras and architectures into the sunny and bright light that crosses it. The Arena, Palazzo Barbieri and the Gran Guardia are the most famous and admired, but not least are the Fountain of the Alps, the Liston with its noble palaces, the Visconti walls, the statue of Vittorio Emanuele II and the Pentagona Tower.

Arena di Verona

The Arena of Verona is, together with Juliet's house, the monument for which the city is famous in Italy and around the world. It is the third largest Roman amphitheater after the Colosseum and the arena of Capua. It can hold about 20,000 people, which is believed to have been the entire population of Verona in the 1st century AD, the period to which the construction of the monument dates back.
