Please note that this is a walking tour, and transportation between Pompeii and Herculaneum will be by EAV Circumvesuviana railway trains. The tour excludes the cost of entrance tickets and train tickets, allowing you to choose the type of ticket that best suits your needs. For convenience, the meeting point is located outside the Pompeii train station, making it easily accessible if arriving by Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be exploring these ancient sites on foot.

Generally, your archaeologist will follow a "classic" itinerary with you in order to maximize the number of monuments you can visit in two hours. But the itinerary can also be decided together with our expert: flexibility is maximum but it is advisable that you let us know your preferences in advance.

Although Herculaneum is much smaller than Pompeii, it is better preserved. In fact, Herculaneum, unlike Pompeii, was completely buried under 20 meters of mud that preserved incredibly well the most part of the buildings, furnishings, wooden objects, mosaic floors, etc.
