Our experience will take place aboard a beautiful sailboat (47ft) off the Amalfi coast on the fabled Mare Azzurro, where we will be exploring many beautiful beaches and places, such as Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi, Praiano, Furore. Feel the warm sun on your face and the wind in your hair. You can go for a swim or just enjoy all the beauty that will be surrounding you on board! We will share a lot of fantastic and exclusive spots reachable only by boat and we'll also have time to taste an Italian aperitif. Optional: at the end of the trip we could bring our guests to one of the exclusive beach restaurants reachable only by boat, where you can eat delicious seafood and local wine. We can help with your transportation pickup and drop off along the coast, if you'll book early I could organize the meeting point in Salerno. Please note Salerno train station is very easy to reach and our base is 15 minutes walking distance from it.

Maiori

Next you will visit the "Pandora's Cave" - a very large cave reachable only by boat. Usually if we are lucky it will also be possible to swim inside in a very deep blue sea! Then we will see the "Dead horse beach" - an unforgettable bay with a cliff overlooking the sea where we usually stop for the aperitif.

Sailing very close to Amalfi we will have the opportunity to appreciate the magnificent cliff overlooking the sea and see one of the most famous rocks called the natural arch - "Arco Naturale"!

One of our beautiful "Norman towers". It is possible to appreciate many Norman towers during the coastline navigation. These towers belong to the historical heritage of Amalfi, they formed the coastline defense system used by the Normans to protect themselves from the attack of enemies who came from the sea. They were used as watch-guard towers and one of the most beautiful and well-maintained towers is "Torre La Cerniola"!

We were unable to complete the sailing tour as it was the off season and there weren't enough people to make a full group. They were extremely helpful in trying to adjust our booking to another day, but unfortunately we were not able to make the schedules work. Writing this review to ease any concern another person may have about booking with Fabio! While I can't speak to the full tour, I can speak to their excellent communication and flexibility.

Seeing the Amalfi Coast from the water (especially under sail) was a once-in-a-lifetime experience; and Fabio and his delightful crew made it especially pleasurable. There is no way a drive along the hair-raising Amalfi Drive can capture the panorama and sights (above and below the Strada) we experienced. (Pity the poor souls in busses.) Out of Amalfi, we made it all the way east to Maiori, stopping at Pandora's Cave along the way; and then at a beautiful beach (accessible only by water) where we swam and snorkeled for 40+ minutes (with the advertised aperitif, plus more prosecco) . Heading back all the way to Positano under sail, Fabio shared his extensive knowledge of the area's history, and pointed out a number of interesting mansions and other landmarks. In Positano, we all captured even more personal photos to share back home. Nearly five hours of an unforgettable experience. As a life-long sailor, I can attest that Fabio is a sailor's sailor (with a relaxed demeanor and great sense of humor). His boat-handling skills are impressive. His boat is impeccable and in Bristol condition. He did his best to maximize the amount of time under sail (which added immensely to my personal pleasure). And when the winds whipped up, he reefed the mainsail a bit to make everyone [else] comfortable.

This was the highlight of our trip. Going sailing with Fabio was something that we had looked forward to for so long and it did not disappoint. We had the chance to see the beautiful coastline, swim in the water and then Fabio dropped us off at a restaurant that is only accessible by boat. He was such a great host and the experience was even better than expected.

Captain Fabio was so enjoyable and professional. The boat is beautiful and kept perfectly. The scenery of the coast is spectacular from the sea. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
