We enjoyed this experience! It was a 5 star experience but the few notes below suggest more of 4-4.5 star experience. The people were great. The views were great. The details of the trip when booking it were a bit vague but went with the booking anyway. I got the impression that it was all day. But was from 10-3pm there and back including lunch, wine, small winery tour and bike ride. There was not any castle tour as the description suggested. The bike ride was short (said it was 10km, but felt much less) but the host stopped and help take plenty of photos and was very nice Italian man with just enough English! The lunch was nice but was not filling. Some meat, cheese, bread and cous cous with ragu sauce. The wine tasting was very nice. Overall 2 adults and 3 kids enjoyed the experience very much!

I have some good and not so good things to say about the bicycle tour. Good Maurizio, our bike group leader, was friendly and helpful. The winery tour with Francesco at the start (before the bike tour) was good – it was interesting to see the Etruscan grain storage containers discovered during the excavation. The lunch after the bike tour was good. Not so Good The pictures on the bike tour section of the website show flat, quiet roads – one looks like an untraveled farm road. The tour is in fact on hilly roads with traffic. It was not dangerous but was not the type of relaxing cycling environment shown in the pictures. Had I known what type of roads were involved I wouldn’t have booked the tour. Also, if you are not used to cycling up hills don’t book this tour. The TuscanyCycle owner (Dejan, I think) gave a safety talk at the outset of the tour but then I discovered, after we started, that the right hand (rear wheel) brake on my bike did not fully grip the wheel, even when fully engaged. I had to rely on the left hand (front wheel) brake. This is an unsafe situation when going downhill. Maurizio kindly switched bikes with me when I alerted him to this problem but it was still concerning. Dejan and his crew have plenty of time every day, while people are having lunch, to make any necessary adjustments to the bikes so why wouldn’t they attend to basic safety items?

Dajan was the best tour guide ever! We had a lot of fun together because I had to ride on the back of his vespa while doing the tour! I honestly enjoyed riding with someone else so I could see the views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

We showed up for our bike ride and it was canceled. We have not received a refund. It would have been nice to know that it was canceled.

I’ve travelled for many years across North America and Europe. I can say that this was probably the best excursion by far that I’ve ever done. The views were incredible, the bike and route and food quality were amazing, but the best part was the staff. Dejan and his team are superb. Responsive, friendly, informative…just an unbelievable experience created by a passionate and honest team. I’ve already texted my friends back in Canada to go to Italy just for this tour. Thank you Dejan and your wonderful hospitality. I’ll remember this experience forever.

This was probably the highlight of our trip in Firenze. Escape the chaos of the city to enjoy a glimpse (and taste) of "real Tuscany". The cycle tour was the perfect distance and difficulty for an adult of average fitness. Great food, wine and olive oil from a family run farm. The cherry on the top was our tour guide Tom, who was an encyclopedia of local information and history but most of all was a really polite, organised chap and overall an excellent host. Ultimately it's the staff that really set this apart from other attractions so well done!

We loved our day with Tuscany Cycle! We spontaneously booked the tour the night before, so went into the day with almost zero expectations. What a pleasant surprise! The full-day vespa tour included a bus ride out of Florence into the Tuscan countryside, with a lesson, winery tour and delicious lunch. We had a blast getting to know the other guests, the amazing guides, and the locals at the winery. Thank you so much to the team for the great day - we would definitely book again!

Tuscany is beautiful. The views during our bike tour were exceptional. However, the reviews on this site did not prepare me for how challenging the bike ride would be. If you are not an avid cyclist or triathlete, you should opt for an E bike or a Vespa. I am an active person, and I had to walk my bike a few times during the trip. If you want a workout combined with a tour, this one’s for you.
