Monte Argentario

(Pass by)

A panoramic tour dedicated to all lovers of nature and mountain bike. One of the most beautiful routes in the area, which offers extraordinary views of the coast and the Tuscan Archipelago. Ride the trails of Monte Argentario, crossing downhill stretches and points overlooking the sea. Adrenaline is guaranteed, but there will be also moments of relaxation. An expert guide will be accompany you to make this experience fantastic,The route develops on different degrees of difficulty and is able to satisfy bikers of all levels, including the most demanding fans. This extremely panoramic tour gives a complete view of the promontory and from the beginning the overview gives us unique views of the coast and part of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. The hairpin bends follow each other until you reach a local road with a flowing flow except for a fairly demanding climb that anticipates the Capo d'uomo tower.

Porto Ercole

Some hairpin separate us from Porto Ercole as we pass near Forte Stella where lunch is scheduled with a wonderful view of the small village. Our walk continues along the lagoon of Orbetello where it is not uncommon to find wonderful specimens of water birds, at this point our path is almost finished and we will be ready for the return.

The description of this tour was very misleading. The description states that it will satisfy bikers of all levels. The tour operator assured us that once we get on the bike, it will e easy. This is a demanding ride with steep uphill and downhill and not for the weary. It is scary downhill grades. Do not bring children. Experience with these bikes should be required. The mechanic over inflated my tire by way too much that the tube popped out, and my bike immediately stopped causing me to get hurt. The operator told my 14 year old that the bikes were easy and that because we were on vacation, to keep the bike motor on “tour” so we would not have to pedal hard. The uphill was very demanding even with the motor assist. My 14 year old daughter flew off her bike going down a very steep decline. She hurt her self badly. I was grateful that the tour operator had someone come pick her up but then she ended up yelling at us afterwards. E cause my daughter fell off the bike. We were charged an additional $170 euro because supposedly the motor switch stopped working due to the fall. The guide, Mauro was very nice but did not speak English, even though the description promised that the tour would be given in English.
