    The tour was very well organized and the guide was excellent. The only issue was with getting back to Rome. Something happened where we had to turn around and find another way back to the station. It added 1.5 hours to our return time. And no one communicated until we finally asked. But Venice was amazing so I do recommend this tour.

    A really good trip to venecia. An amazing place to visit, our guide company was gray line and the tour guy Jacopo , excellent very knowledgeable , nice and friendly, we highly recommend them.

    We are basing in Rome and wanted to see more of Italy, so we booked a day trip south and one more north to Venice. While it was a long day it was amazing. And given several hours were aboard a marvelous high speed train we were able to relax and see some of the countryside along the way. Our tour guide for the day was Jacob and he took great care of us. He was knowledgeable, interesting and just plain fun to be around. I had thought from reading the description that the guide put us on the train and then we were on our own but thankfully that was not the case. He met us with our tickets, got us on the train, gave us an overview of the day, rode with us to Venice and then once we arrived show us highlights on a walking tour on the way to St. Mark’s Square. Then we had a few hours on our own to eat lunch, take a gondola ride, shop or whatever we wanted to do. At 4:30 we could meet at a shop for coffee and a snack or just show up at the train terminal at 6:00 for the trip back. Once we arrived back to the Rome Termini they got us to the taxi station and said goodbye. It was so reassuring to have a guide with us but we also were able to explore Venice on our own so it was the best of both. I highly recommend this tour as you don’t want to miss seeing Venice!

    This trip was amazing! Venice is absolutely beautiful. If you really want to see it but don't have time to actually stay there this is the way to do it. Our tour guide was also very friendly and gave us a short tour when we got there to make sure we knew where to go and discussed Venetian history which was very interesting. We then had plenty of free time and free wine at an optional Apervito before heading back to the train station. Only downside is it's a very long day as it takes about 4 hours there and then back (total 8 hours on a train). However, it was worth it to be able to see and experience Venice.

    Best part was the Gondola boat ride.l through canals. But you can also see pay for water taxi which is alot cheaper.
