Castelmezzano
Basilicata region is not only Matera: it's still little known to mass tourism, but is getting more and more popular. One of its hidden treasures is Dolomiti Lucane Ntl Park and Castelmezzano, a beautiful village. Part of the club The most beautiful villages in Italy, in 2007 Castelmezzano was included by Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel magazine among "The best places you've never heard of"
