The Old course gold shop and the Museum of Golf have a wide variety of golf gifts and apparel . St Andrews is also home of one of the oldest universities in Britain . Visit a beautiful ruined castle in the town or the ancient cathedral . You have around two hours to explore this historic town. St Andrews features a number of restaurants and cafes for lunch

Falkland Palace & Garden
Falkland Palace was a favourite haunt of Mary Queen of Scots and features the oldest tennis court in the world . Falkland was the film location for Inverness in the first episode of smash hit TV series Outlander
