Friendly (pre tour) and very professional guide, big group under tough conditions (rain). Guide did well keeping it mixed up and interesting for a tour group that has everybody from kids to old timers. So irreverent humor is a good approach! I would definitely recommend your tour.

We loved the whole tour! The rest of my family went hesitantly but we all had a great time. Our Guide Captain Pickles was the best. We learned so much and kept talking throughout the next few days about the things we learned. Would highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour with Jeremiah Poope! He was entertaining, funny and very informative. Would recommend!

Took the Freedom Trail tour on the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Our tour guide Captain Pickles was awesome! Full of information and facts about all things Freedom Trail related. Would definitely encourage taking this guided tour. A little over 90 minutes and covered a lot of ground. Wear comfortable shoes. Come ready to ask questions to learn about the Patriots that shaped our great country.

I’ve been to Boston too many times to count but never did a tour. Found myself with some spare time yesterday and booked this on the fly. It was an absolute pleasure to learn from an historian who clearly studied her character to portray her accurately (and in full costume) during our walk. Equipped with maps and some small props, she told her story and shared interesting details about the people of the time and the world impact on the colony in which they lived. Rehearsed, yes, but felt really authentic without being over the top. 10/10 would recommend this tour.

Went with my mother, a senior, and child, a second grader. We all had a great time and walking was manageable. Fun learning so much about history.

As a history lover there's nothing better than learning new details on a complex subject like the American revolution. Our guide, playing Deborah Sampson, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. So glad we did this.

I didn’t like the freedom trail walking tour. Too much taking and less waking They could have better call it the cemetery tour. The tourguide loves to talk at the cemetery.

Christopher_N

Tour ran over an hour and a half. Could have easily been concluded faster. Was a bit dry. Too much time in cemetery.

Our guides name was Jeremiah poope. This guy was AWESOME. - He knew the history of America / Boston as if he was alive back in the 1800s. - He made sure everyone could hear him - He was personable, answered all questions, and had a great sense of humor to keep the tour interesting. I definitely recommend this tour if you can handle the 1.2 mile slow paced walk with plenty of stops.
