    it was our first time visiting Rome and this tour was our last planned activity for our trip. It was an excellent experience. Our guide was friendly and taught us so much! I would definitely recommend.

    Loved this tour! We had Rhianne as our tour guide and she was amazing! She did a great job of putting as back into the mindsets of the Ancient Romans and their perception of death, and helped us understand the purpose of these catacombs. It’s definitely an interesting eye opening tour, and even as a history buff myself, this made me learn new things and look at things in new ways. I will say, when you do explore the catacombs, your tour guide does not go in with you because only certified people by the state can take you. In my opinion, I found my original tour guide (Rhianne) much better and captivating than the one in the catacombs, but I understand this is not something the tour company is capable of changing. Either way, amazing tour, a must do if you come to Rome that is not talked about enough!

    Flavia was a fantastic guide! She filled those hours with Roman history, fascinating discussions about religion, art, and class. The transitions were flawless from walking, to transportation to catacombs. One of the best tours!

    It’s easy to miss this 16th century church tucked down an alley, but your expert guide knows the fascinating history that lies beneath your feet. After a brief introduction from your guide, they will ring the doorbell and wait for a nun to escort you and your small group into the church for an exclusive visit. You’ll follow the nun down a short flight of stairs into the crypt, revealing the bones and remains of thousands of individuals in a jaw-dropping display of life and death.
