My family took a Chianti Wine tour and our experience couldn’t have been better. I booked the tour in advance of our trip and found the company to be very responsive to questions and great to work with. Our tour guide Valerie was amazing! We learned so much about the region from her. The winery was beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing a small family owned winery. The wine and the food were delicious. We scheduled this for late afternoon and really had a great time for apertivo with Valerie.

This Chianti wine tasting and visit to Verdi, was the highlight of our week in Tuscany. Tania, our guide, made us all feel relaxed and had us singing along on the mini-bus. She made it interesting and has a great sense of humour. We really felt like we made a new friend. We learnt a lot about wines and olive oil. The visit to Vinci was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend and well worth the money.

Tania our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun! We appreciated the small group size, the town of Vinci, and the quaint winery in Chianti. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have an enjoyable afternoon and experience the beauty of Tuscany.

Fantastic experience visiting the birthplace of Da Vinci and tasting some incredible wines in beautiful surroundings. Tania our tour guide was a genuine pleasure and helped the day fly by with lots of fun incorporated into her knowledge of the region and it's delicacies. The hosts did not hold back with the wine and nibbles and it was honestly the best way to spend one of our few days in Tuscany.

For my Birthday my sisters and son decided it was time to go back to Italy. Since we were on a self guided trip we decided we would mix in some guided tours along with our own exploring. After some research on various tour companies we found we did not see many options open for February since it is considered off season. We emailed A couple different tour companies to see what was available. Come and See Italy Tours and Elena responded within 24 hours to let us know what was available. So we decided to take a chance on Come and See Italy Tours. We definitely won the lottery! From the moment we met our guide Tani Molly we knew we made the right choice. Her knowledge and passion for helping us learn about Italy’s culture, history and environment including tips for making the most of our trip was unforgettable. This particular tour was an amazing immersion into the small quaint town of Vinci full of Leonardo DaVinci history. As we walked through the town and buildings, Tani filled us in on the history along with myths and legends. We then stopped for a coffee and made our way to the boutique winery surrounded by the breathtaking views of Tuscany. This third generation winery was a quaint reminder of what family owned and operated really means. From being greeted by the owner when we arrived to the feeling of family as you walked around and through the grounds. The wine labels reflect the paintings of Leonardo as well. The wine and food pairing was just like sitting down with family. It was truly an amazing experience one that you should not miss. Note: the olive oil is a secret gem.

After reading the reviews we decided to book this trip directly with the hotel - which worked out slightly cheaper. Elena was our guide and we headed off in a small air conditioned mini bus to Vinci. On the way Elena told us all about Tuscany, the wine, the olive oil, the trees, etc. We had a short walking tour of Vinci and then onto the main event - the tour of the Winery which is situated on the hillside with breathtaking views. We had 4 glasses of wine, 1 white 3 red - all large glasses so dont worry! We also had some Bruschetta, cheese and meats. Finally, we had the sweet wine. The trip back to the hotel was so much fun - Elena had the music on and got people singing - much easier when you've had a few wines! Overall, an amazing trip with a really great tour guide in Elena.

We booked the trip through hotel reception. Elena was our tour guide and we stopped off at the birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci for 45mins before we arrived at the vineyards. After a short tour of the winery, we sat and enjoyed fantastic food (particularly the tomato bruschetta) and a small plate of salami and cheese. A total of 4 wines to taste, water on the table and dessert wine with biscotti to finish. The group size was perfect at 15 and the quality of the wine was so good we bought a Chianti and a Super Tuscan for less than€25. I would highly recommend this tour which is relaxing but informative and you will be lucky if you get Elena to host you and teach you the correct way to taste fine wines

A wonderful afternoon to Vinci and wine tasting. The guide Elena was VERY good. She shared so much information about Italy, wine and olives. Very interesting and fun. Great wine tasting at Sommavilla winery. And wonderful Italien food. Would like to go again.
