This tour was supposed to be a guided and personalized tour of Montserrat and wineries. We did not receive this. . We had a very nice driver who did not know he was supposed to be our guide. He did not enter Montserrat (he had never been there and didn’t know anything about it.) I specifically asked to be at the cathedral for the Boys choir performance at 1 o’clock. I had the driver check to see that that was the correct time and he confirmed it was. However, the boys choir is on holiday the entire month of August, which we found out when we went to buy our own tickets for entry, that were supposed to be covered by this tour. We also missed a full wine tour at a very nice winery, because we were trying to view the boys choir. After we did our own self tour of the basilica,, we went to the winery only to find that they were about to close. We were able to have a bite to eat but the tours and wine tastings were not available. This was an extremely disappointing day. I asked five days ahead of time to confirm our pickup time of 9 o’clock. I hadn’t heard after three days, so called Viator again. They confirmed the time at 9 o’clock. Our driver wrote an email at 8:50 am the morning of the tour to confirm his 10 o’clock arrival. I emailed back that it was incorrect. ( no phone number provided) Our driver, Hassan, who was a good and polite driver, had only returned to driving two weeks earlier. He asked us where we wanted to go when we got in the car. The tour was of Montserrat and wineries. He was not informed about the venues, did not enter any of the venues but would take us to the entrances. We tried to view the Olympic stadium- it was closed. He took us to the national museum but would not enter as he had never been there either. This company Limosland should not be used in the future since they do not have informed guides. This was our first day in Barcelona and was supposed to be a nice introduction to the city, Montserrat and wineries. A very disappointing day and start to our vacation. We will ask for a refund.
