Beautiful traditional white Spanish Village.

Puentes Colgantes

The hanging bridges are at the entrance to the Canyon de Turia we ail cross over them we continue to do the whole walk which takes around 3h30 mins also stopping at the Banos de Turia where there is an opportunity to swim if it is warm.

Castillo de Chulilla

After the circular walk, we will return to Chulilla again where there will be an opportunity to visit the ancient castle and we will have a drink after the walk.

Howard is a fine, pleasant and knowledgeable guy and we enjoyed our tour very much. Our kids, 8&10yrs, kept pace without a problem although the whole tour is 15km. April is ideal for it isn't too hot.

Great hiking day out. Howard was knowledgeable about the area, and also had sun screen for those who forgot to bring some on this the hottest day of the year so far. After cultural tours, it was nice to have a walking one to stretch my legs, even if parts of it was under direct sunshine.

Not what I expected. The tour I requested was in Spanish and we had a guide in English. Second, the guide was not very knowledgeable on the vegetation of the region. Howard was not very attentive to the needs of the other guest. The guide should be more knowledgeable about the area, and the places to walk in a safe matter, and notify us that there are no 🚾 services in the pathway, to bring toilet paper, trash bags and be prepared to go on a bush, to bring disinfect wipes. Unfortunately, Howard was not a very good guide. The walk was good, and beautiful scenery, would of like to know more about the vegetation and animals of the region. In the pictures it showed a waterfall which we did not see.

Had a fantastic time on the chulilla tour. For two people who are fit but don't do a huge amount of hiking it was the perfect distance. Howard was a great guide and we really enjoyed ourselves. Would strongly recommend to anyone staying in Valencia for more than a few days!

Howard’s hikes are a lot of fun. You can choose light/medium routes, so you feel comfortable mastering it. He takes max.8 people in his minibus per hike, everyone feels welcome. Groups are international, so you might learn some Spanish on the way. Hikes start with a coffee stop in beautiful villages, own lunch on the peak and a relaxing drink afterwards. Excellent experience every time!

My wife and I did 2 walking tours with Howard. Both were excellent and it would be impossible to pick a favourite between this walk and the Roman aqueduct walk. Howard is a great guide - full of information and has a wonderful sense of humour! Any one of Howard's tours would be highly recommended if you are in Valencia.

Chulilla Village and Canyon de Turia will amaze you. Howard will guide you through the most beautiful trails in this area. With the private tour, you can tailor it. He’s very knowledgeable and is great company. The hike is very gentle. Half of it is paved. It lasts about 3-4 hours with stops for photos and lunch. If you love cats there is a very friendly colony of 7 cats and kittens in Chulilla Village. Bring treats or a can of cat food to greet them at the end of the trail.

Absolutely loved this excursion. The route was one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen, quite flat and easy to walk and so peaceful and relaxing. Howard was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to get on with. If you’re lucky, like me, you might even see a mountain goat at close range and get to watch it hopping over the cliffs. I’d highly recommend this excursion and will definitely book more excursions with Howard.
