Juanjo was amazing! He took us to places we’d never have discovered on our own and made sure we had an authentic experience. He thoughtfully ordered ahead so we could sample the local cuisine in addition to experiencing a vast array of Albariño at three distinct wineries/vineyards. Juanjo made sure we learned the context and history of the region, met some incredibly interesting people, ate delicious food, sampled a lot of wine, and took in the beauty of the area. I have worked in the wine industry in the US for over 10 years and this is one of the best wine and travel experiences I have ever had!

This was by and far one of the best experiences we had in Spain and worth every penny! Juanjo was very communicative prior to ensure we knew where to meet and how to locate him. He provided a wealth of knowledge on the region, Spain, food recommendations, and everything else we asked! The three wineries he picked were great and offered a variety of experiences and was helpful he was able to assist translating as well take us to a very off the beaten path local restaurant for lunch. To top it off he was taking pictures with his professional camera and sent after to help us capture the memories so we could stay in the moment at the wineries. Thank you Juanjo!

Firstly, we had an excellent tour guide in Juanjo. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the region. He was a font of information and we really appreciated that he went above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience for us. The Albariño wine region is beautiful. The wineries we visited were all different and gave us insight into wine making in thsi part of Galicia. We had a lovely lunch in a local spot as well. I highly recommend booking a tour with Juanjo in this beautiful part of Spain.

Juanjo is an joy to work with, he took us to three wineres and a lovely lunch under the vines. He is thoughtful and made a great itinerary for my partner and I. He helped me along with my mediocre Spanish and made the tour a highlight of our trip. I recommend him to anyone who wants to experience Albarino this way.

We did a full-day wine tour (in excellent English, which saved us from my terrible Spanish!) with Juanjo. First, the guy is a real pro - he's not just a driver like you might get on some other bigger-group tours, he's a true local who takes pride in giving his clients the best experience possible! He knows the whole area from top to bottom, and he evolved the tour throughout the day based on our conversations and interests. Of course we had some amazing wines in beautiful settings in a variety of different wineries (including access to people and places that we never could have gotten on our own), but the local knowledge, access to off-the-beaten-path sites, and of course the excellent lunch (along with tips on how it's prepared) were all special touches that made this a truly memorable experience. We look forward to getting back to the area again to book another trip!

Juanjo took us on an amazing tour of the Albariño wine region. He took us to four vineyards that were unique and each made Albariño in a slightly different way. They were not commercial wineries and each one had an owner/winemaker whose passion for making Albariño shown through in their product. Juanjo took care and effort in selecting these places and really made the tour special. He has extensive knowledge of the region and was an excellent guide. For lunch, he offered us several options and we went with a local restaurant in a seaside town that had excellent seafood and was a good break in between wine tastings. The Pulpa a feira was delicious. I highly recommend Juanjo for a fantastic experience in Albariño wine country

Juan Jose was a great tour guide. We went to three very different wineries. He answered all our questions about the area and it's history. It was an all day tour and we learned so much not only about wine but the whole area in general. Highly recommend this tour

Galicia is still not a very accessible place to visit when you are a non-Spanish speaking foreigner but Juan Jose made our day very special and the full day tour itinerary was so well crafted that never did we ever once felt we were rushed or out of time. We managed to fit in 4 wineries, and tasted some fantastic wines and toured their wineries with plenty of time. He crafted the tour so that we visited a SME winery, a large winery, a historically important one then a very boutique small winery. And during the siesta times, we visited the Island of Arousa, visited a local Furancho, like a family-fun small garage bar where you get served very local food and drink wine the way the locals do it. Then to finish off he takes you to take in the sights of a famous fishing village and the world's largest Oreo, where the locals dried grains. Was a super day. Just sit back and relax and let him take you on a fantastic excursion out.
