Admire one of the must-sees of the Spanish capital, which was built between 1738 and 1735. This official residence for Spanish kings is considered one of the finest palaces in Europe. Stroll around one of the central squares of Madrid and be amazed by the 136 baroque buildings surrounding the place. Take a trip to the past as you learn about the principal historic events that took place there and all the previous names of the square. Wander along the iconic 114 arches and take the most memorable pictures. Also one of the main squares of Spanish cities, made in the shape of a quadrangle. Take pictures of magical creatures on the facades, arches and balconies. In the center of the square is erected a sculpture of Philip the Third in bronze.

Plaza de Oriente
