One of the most fun and insightful tours we ever did! Our guide Sara introduced us to her country and the parts of Lisboa with Portuguese passion and temperament, lovely. We really enjoyed her hospitality and got historical facts, stories, local jokes and a personal touch - more than we expected. Thank you so much!

This was my second walk with the amazing Hi Lisbon Wslking Tours. José was our brilliant guide and showed his passion for Alfama where he lives. An oasis of calm in February and a place where you could just walk and walk and have fun. Muito obrigado José

Our guide José was GREAT! He was very attentive towards our group, trying to stop often and in shady areas. He was also knowledgeable and informative, sharing Portugal’s past history but also explaining how it is to live in Alfama. He gave us many tips to make the best of our time in Lisbon. Highly recommended if you are looking for something “real”.

I am not a tour lover because I usually can’t hear and see clearly or have much of an attention span. After a distasteful experience over accommodations I didn’t like Lisbon. Sara, our guide, turned that around completely because of her Lisbon knowledge, your experience and personal charm. I found myself laughing and engaged in her narrative. She’s welcome to my California anytime!

Great tour. I don't think I could have found the places we saw on this tour if it were not for our guide. Our guide was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this.

We had a tour with Sara on Saturday and she was so good we changed our tour on Sunday to go with her again. This area is very different to our Belem tour. This is about the everyday of life and more recent history and you learn about Portugal under a dictator. Going up to a viewpoint through Alfama was amazing. The winding, cobbled streets were interesting and Sara gave us the history and context of this area. Another really great tour, it gave us a better understanding of Lisbon and it's people. Thank you Sara great to meet you.
