Walk and information shared by guide, however Viator requirement to write a longer review annoying. This is crazy.

Such a great tour, getting real insight to monopoli from a local! I highly recommend this tour ! Just to get a feel of what it is all about and how monopoli became such a wonderful place to visit

Our guide, Valeria, was outstanding. Being a native of Monopoli, her pride and knowledge were readily evident. She brought us around the old town and explained the history of Monopoli without inundating us with historical facts . . . she brought the past to life in a positive manner. It was like walking through town with a friend. Very easy to talk with; answered any and all questions; took our pictures; and even bought us a gelato at the end! Valeria made our brief visit to Monopoli most enjoyable

Valeria is the consummate guide …..very knowledgeable, articulate with a warm personality and importantly for us, a sense of humour. Our walking tour of the historic town of Monopoli was fantastic….far better than wandering the alleyways with a map & guide book as we saw other tourists doing …..she told us all the interesting facts but not in “university terms “ …..mixed with humorous anecdotes and local insights. We ended our walk with a delicious gelato from Gasperini opened since 1936 !! Grazie mille Valeria Mark & Nicole Australia

Ms. Valeria was extremely knowledgeable about the local history and culture, and wove into her tour stories and legends that made the tour truly memorable for us. We really enjoyed visiting the church and waterfront in particular, and she kindly bought us the best focaccia we've ever tasted!
