Our guide was excellent!!! I would recommend this to anyone!! He was very knowledgeable about the Vatican as well as the artwork! Extremely personable and very informative. Some of our other friends did a different tour and was sorry that they didn't have our perfect experience.

Sabrina was a wonderful guide. She listened to what we wanted to experience and made it happen. Her wealth of knowledge, good English, and great personality made our tour unforgettable. She made sure we found our ride before leaving us and was so helpful with suggestions after the tour.

Great tour guide. Too many people. Only issue is we felt rushed to get through. Didn't see as many art pieces as we wanted. Time allotted needs to be longer.

We were picked up from our Airbnb by van and promptly escorted into the waiting hands of Tommaso for our tour. It’s difficult to wholly put into words the experience. Tommaso (an archeologist by trade) was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about everything he showed us. Tommaso was very personable and was energized by some of my questions and requests. A simple “is there a statue of Augustus” and he lit up with a “i’m so glad you’ve asked”. He elaborated on things as we walked throughout the Vatican museums and tried to show us simple things that get overlooked, like the fact that you walk on priceless mosaics that are equally as impressive as the statues and art, but are generally missed. The fact that the museum was at 10% capacity made it all the more rare of an experience as we got to appreciate a lot of areas with no little to no people around and we got to take our time with the experience. Now COVID things, the tour was very safe. We were offered sanitizer on getting into the van when picked up, and from meeting Tommaso through the end of the tour we all kept our masks on the whole time which made us feel very safe. While the tour couldn’t cover St. Peter’s basilica due to the Vatican changing rules there was no wait and we were able to get in with less than 10 min wait after all temperature checks and security screening.

Our guide, Claudia, met us at our nearby AirBnB and walked with us ~ 10 minutes to the Museum entrance to avoid traffic. She skillfully navigated through crowds and provided us with a thoughtful, well-articulated insight into the history and political intrigue surrounding the artists, popes and art patrons as well as the architecture, painting and sculpture. Her bright personality made time fly - this was the highlight of our visit to Rome. A private tour is well worth the expense.

I am still amazed, after a couple of months back from Rome. Our guide was IMPRESSIVE!!! Massimiliano, a kind, knowledgable, fun man. He walked us through history with stories and incredible passion. I already recommended them to some friends and I strongly suggest you to book with them if you plan this visit. The Vatican in insanely crowded, so going with the right guide could make your visit memorable otherwise can become...a living hell

We had a tour with Tommaso and he made the tour so fun and informative. I learned so much. We have two boys (10 & 12) and they loved Tommaso. In fact, they said it was their favorite day of a week in Rome. This is surprising because the Sistine Chapel was closed for a couple of hours and their was a lot of standing in lines. All in all, it was a great tour. You should spend a little extra and get the private tour, so worth it. I’d also as for Tommaso!
