    We took a tour with with Micaela to Orta San Giulio on very rainy day and it still was one of the highlights of our Italy trip! She is very knowledgeable and passionate guide with excellent English who showed us parts of the area that we would never be able to discover on our own!     Our day in Orta San Giulio with Micaela turned to be a highlight of our 10 days in the Italian Lakes. Micaela arranged for her husband David to drive us there and back from our base in Stresa, as well as to drive us to the top of the Sacro Monte, which was an unexpected pleasure. Micaela’s explanations there as well as on the San Giulio island gave us a real appreciation of the history and significance of this special place. The village itself is lovely, and we enjoyed a lakeside lunch before Micaela’s private tour. She is truly a gifted guide and a charming, kind person. Book as early as you can, since Micaela is rightfully in high demand.

    Micaela is terrific. Her husband picked us up at our hotel in Stresa and drove us to Lake Orta. Both speak very good English.

    Micaela was lovely and friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning the history of Orta San Giulia. It was a highlight of our stay in this beautiful part of the world.
