Grotta Zinzulusa

The pick-up will take place at 8:30am at your favourite location in Lecce. The first stop is Castro, with its mild atmosphere, the generous nature, its enchanting sea , the beautiful scenery , it is one of the most beautiful port of tourist of Salento. Castro is characterized by the particular salting buildings and pedestrian streets where you can admire the beautiful view of the bay and the Adriatic Sea up to Santa Maria di Leuca. Of particular interest is the Aragonese Castle of the XVI century and the Byzantine Church of the tenth century. Very fashinating is also the Zinzulusa Cave, sits near Castro. It is one of Salento's most impressive karstic phenomena, so we suggest you to do a boat-tour in the cave, and do a jump in for a swim in the crystal-clear water,  if the weather permits it. Tour guide is not included

Santa Cesarea Terme

Driving along a coastal road, through the town of Santa Cesarea Terme and Porto Badisco, you will admire an unique landscape, our chaffeur will bring you to Otranto for lunch time at the farmer "Le Creste". Otranto

Lying deep in Italy’s stiletto, Otranto is a mix of history, architecture, views, sea-front restaurants and white sandy beach makes it one of Puglia's most interesting, charming and picturesque towns. The imposing castle, thick perimeter walls and robust towers (built after the town was liberated from the Turks in the late 15th century) dominate much of the town, giving way to a small port, a series of sea-front promenades with  excellent fish restaurants and the town's very own beautiful white sandy beach and turquoise waters. The delightful Romanesque cathedral, dating back to 1088 and boasting extensive 12th century floor mosaics, is another highlight that should not be missed. After this exciting day, your chaffeur will bring you back at the favourite point. Note: Tour guide is not included, we recommend you to have a guidebook

Nico was a great driver - polite, flexible and happy to answer questions about Italy and Puglia. Monopoli and Otranto have got to be seen to be believed. Loved the chance for a swim in both places and lunch. Sad to see so many olive trees destroyed by virus.

I cannot recommend this tour simply because the services were not as described. First, the driver spoke absolutely no english, even though the services were listed as being provided in english. Our minimal italian skills helped us figure out what time we needed to be back, but the language barrier prevented the driver from pointing out any interesting sites, etc. Second, we did not stop at the Le Creste farm for lunch, even though thats listed above as part of the "tour" - I don't even think our driver knew that was supposed to be a stop, he just took us straight to Otranto. Giving two stars because the driver was timely and drove well but I honestly can't recommend paying for services that weren't as described.
