    The Civic Museum testifies to the history and cultural identity of the people of Altomonte through the work of artists, feudal lords and patrons, structures and men of the church who were born here and acted in conjunction with particular events, drawing their history.

    Chiesa di Santa Maria della Consolazione

    It is the most interesting church of the Angevin period in Calabria. Adjacent to the church is the former convent of the Dominican Fathers, today the seat of the Civic Museum of Altomonte.
