What to expect
Reggio Calabria
Not to be missed is the Lungomare with Villa Genoese Zerbi and the statues of Rabarama. Then there are the Duomo, the Castle and the shopping streets.
Scilla
It is the village counted among the most beautiful in Italy. This is the district, largely rocky, located in the northern part of the promontory on which the Ruffo castle stands. Its particularity is given by the numerous characteristic houses built on the rocks, directly next to the sea and separated from each other by alleys and canals, so much so that Chianalea is also known as "the little Venice of the South".
Castello Ruffo di Scilla
The castle stands on the promontory of Scilla, its origin dates back to 493 BC. and from its particular architecture it can be deduced that it was built in various eras. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Sicilian coasts and the Aeolian Islands.
Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Reggio Calabria
It is one of the most representative archaeological museums of the period of Magna Graecia and ancient Calabria. Known to the world for the permanent exhibition of the famous Riace Bronzes, it also houses a rich collection of finds from all over the Calabrian territory, from Prehistory to the late Roman Age.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
