Trevi Fountain

Piazza Navona
Pedal through Piazza Navona right to the Four River Fountain to witness one more artwork by Bernini, the second significant fountain in Rome. Following his masterplan statues of four river gods are put around the obelus, symbolizing the Danube (Europe), Gang (Asia), La Plata (America), and Nile (Africa). The square is oval, a reminiscence of an ancient stadium built by Caesar, and for a long time it was a marketplace.
Pantheon

Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo

Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Be mesmerized by the views of Palazzo Venezia, a gorgeous residence of Petro Barbo, a venetian cardinal who came to be the Pope of Rome afterwards. The ancient buildings were of little value to 15th-century Romans, so the Colosseum and Marcello Theater were as helpful as quarries for the palace and other buildings of that time.
Complesso del Vittoriano
Admire the grandeur of the Vittoriano Compex with its rows of perfectly white columns, statues, and bas-reliefs. Constructed as a memorial to Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of united Italy, it is sometimes considered too pretentions and has been evoking controversies since its opening. Colonna Traiana

Ride by the remarkable structure of Trajan’s Column, with 23 volutes of bas-relief and at least 2,500 pictures of Romans and Dacians. The images tell about two Dacian wars, and in the past they were in color. The whole structure rises 38 meters above the ground and has stairs inside it that lead to the top of the column.
