This was one of the best and most memorable trips I’ve ever been on. Not only was the Tuscan country side enough to justify going but the care and passion our guide, Guglielmo, had was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced before. His knowledge and love for the region was overflowing. We took stops along county road to get pics of the stunning rolling farmland, a quick cappuccino in a quaint little village, then to our first stop in Pienza which was beautiful. The best part was the pecorino farm outside Pienza. The staff there treated us like family and the food/wine were excellent. Montepulciano was also wonderful. The wine tasting was informative and the wine itself was great. The small group size also creates an intimate experience, we were with three other couples we met that day who were great company. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area

Julio at the cheese farm was knowledgeable and the farm, views and cheese was amazing. Matea our driver was attentive and really knew the history of the wine region as well as wine making. We went to Via a Tolll where the wine tour of the Brunello vines and cellar was provided by Anthony who was full of passion. We tasted from the cellars and toured the villa and ended with an amazing tasting of Chianti and Brunello wines. I will definitely go back ♥️

Magnificent. Everything about this tour was perfect. Our guide, Guglielmo, was wonderful. He answered every question and provided an abundance of information that was so interesting and relevant. He was so professional yet warm and friendly. And so accommodating to any and every request. On this tour you get to become part of the culture not just part of the tour. There are special stops along the way that are unique and unforgettable. The lunch on the farm was delicious with spectacular views. I would go back just to eat and sip wine! The wine tasting in Multipulciano was wonderful. We ordered a case shipped home! From the very start of booking this tour with Giorgia to the end of the day with Guglielmo, the customer service was spectacular. Above and beyond. Don’t miss this tour!

We took a private tour from Hotel Athena in Siena to Montepulciano and Pienza. Our guide was amazing. Guglielmo was a joy from start to finish. His English was impeccable, his knowledge was amazing and he could not have been nicer. Highly recommend him. We enjoyed Pienza very much - it was a nice surprise as we were not sure what to expect there. We also stopped at a small town where a husband/wife ran a small local store and it exposed us to the culture and pride that Italians have in their home towns. They were warm and welcoming. Although we did not understand much Italian, their smiles and warmth welcomed us in a way that was something I will remember forever. Georgia was our contact at TuscanEscapes. We ran into some travel delays and she was able to credit our first tour and reschedule for us very quickly. She was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We have booked a few more tours with them and look forward to our next experience with them.

This is my second time using Tuscan Escapes for a private wine tour. They are excellent with communication, on time pick up, clean cars and most of all, professional guides. Daniele (our guide) was fun, knowledgeable and brought us to three very vineyards. Each had a very different personality, starting with a family owned vineyard for generations, lunch at a “bigger” vineyard and ended with a very small vineyard where we sat in the home with owner having wine and sharing his stories. I personally LOVED this last experience. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. Although, we did because the wine was outstanding at all of them. I would highly recommend this company. They never disappoint!
