Francisco was recommended to my sister and I for a day tour of Regaleira and Pena Palace in Sintra and we were delighted with our day with him. Francisco was very familiar with the best routes to take and advised us on booking the location visits to get the best use of our time. His knowledge of the area and the history was second to none. He brought us back via Cascais and the coast with plenty of opportunity to stop and visit the sites and take pictures. We would highly recommend Francisco for any tour, he is such a lovely person. Badger Tours was recommended to us by a Portuguese colleague.
We stayed in Cascais and booked a private 1-day tour to Sintra area. As we preferred to visit the parks individually, Francisco drove us to where we had to go, gave us useful tips and talked about the history of the places & area. He suggested the order of the visits, as he is very knowledgeable of the area and his proposal made perfect sense to us. On the way back to Cascais, Francisco took the scenic ocean road and stopped at some beautiful places for us to take pictures, which we appreciated very much. We had an excellent day, the places we visited were very impressive and we felt very comfortable and safe with Francisco. He is very nice and a good driver. We would definitely consider Badger Tours again for our next trip to Portugal. Thank you Francisco for a great day and for looking after us! Sarah & Herbert

Francisco and his team are so reliable, knowledgeable and kind. It was a pleasure not just to see the sights but to be in their hands for the day. My family and I had the best time, and my children (relevant car seats were provided for me) loved the panoramic roof on the car, we felt like we were constantly sightseeing even in the in between moments! I look forward to working my way through the list of trips that Badger Tours offers, until next time, thanks again.

Francisco is a wonderful guide and took us to other points of interest on the way back. The queues at Sintra were horrendous (and we went on a Sunday, allegedly quieter). We visited Quinta de Regaleira which was much quieter. Francisco also stopped off at the most westerly point of Europe at Cabo da Roca as well as in Cascais. Really good day.
