A most pleasurable trip we had . Sal and Anna were fantastic captain and host . Sal picked us up from our hotel and took us to the boat where we were greeted by Anna . Anna kept us entertained and informed about the history and coastline as we traveled to Capri . We dropped some guests on Capri and then fished . We caught a variety of small bream, rockfish and mackerel . We were then treated to a home made pasta dish along with the fish that we had just caught that Anna had cooked onboard .To top it off we were given cake that Anna’s family had baked . We swam , drank beer , laughed and had a fantastic day . Met some great new friends as well. Would absolutely recommend this tour 👍🏻

Sal and Ana were fantastic hosts in this fishing and sightseeing boat trip! We learned about the area and its history, got up close and personal with the grottos of Capri, and caught some fish. It was so relaxing and enjoyable spending the day on the boat! Highly recommend!

We wanted to take a day trip to Amalfi coast from Sorrento whilst we were visiting and I spent a long time researching the many options. Eventually I chose SalBoat and what a great decision this turned out to be. The pick-up in the morning by Sal was bang on time and after a short wait at the Marina Grande we departed on our tour with Anna (Sal's niece) as our guide for the day. Anna was a delightful guide, smiling throughout and providing helpful advice for our stops. The boat was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for the 10 passengers to move around and take different vantage points during the trip. Anna provided plenty of local information and insight during the fairly long ride around to Amalfi where we had about 1 hour 20 mins on shore. Amalfi itself was pleasant but very busy. The highlight of our stop here was a visit to the cathedral in particular the cloisters and crypt (4 Euro entrance fee) which was fabulous and well worth the fee. On our way to Positano Anna served lunch, which was fresh, home made pasta followed by tomato and mozzarella salad and chocolate cake. Drinks were also provided at no additional cost. The only minor criticism would be this all felt slightly rushed and it would have been nice to slow the boat and actually take our time over lunch. Next stop was Positano for another 1 hour 20 mins stop. Positano was beautiful to wander through the steep lanes and shops although as Amalfi, incredibly busy. Part was back to Sorrento we stopped at a small bay for a swim. We were expecting the sea to be cold with it being October, but it was surprisingly pleasant and we had a very enjoyable and refreshing swim in a beautiful setting. We had expected the most enjoyable part of the trip to be our stops in the towns, but it actually turned out to be our time on the boat which was incredibly relaxing, taking in the fantastic scenery in comfort and enjoying the escape from the crowds. A fabulous day out and highly recommended.

This trip was perfect! Anna was sweet, happy and full of knowledge. The shopping time may seem short but it was enough. Come with a swimsuit and be ready to smile, take pics and enjoy food, swimming and a wonderful experience.

If you are in Sorrento and want to visit Capri, you’d better call Sal! We choose the fishing tour (8:30-4:30) and loved the entire experience. The company is family run with two boats (that day the other boat was going to the Amalfi coast with Sal’s father and sister). We had the pleasure of sailing with Sal and his cousin Anna. What a day! Anna was an amazing hostess/tour guide who pointed out many different sights along the way to Capri. She spoke excellent English and always had a beautiful smile on her face! There were 12 of us on the boat in total, the others were there to explore the island, and all got off for the 4 hrs. We decided to split our time with 2 hrs on the island and 2 hrs fishing, it was the perfect amount of time for both. Being the only ones on the boat fishing was some of the best time we had. We caught several small fish (we were very close to Capri so not too deep) and most of them we threw back. We did catch four that were big enough for them to take home to their family. My wife hasn’t fished before and Anna showed her the ropes. She had a blast! We were able to visit with both Sal and Anna and they were so fun to spend those two hours with. Afterwards, we were able to take a swim in the sea with floaty noodles and relax in the water. They served a tasty lunch of homemade pasta salad with their garden ingredients as well as bread made fresh the night before from the family. Dessert was a tasty chocolate cake. The boat is modest, but very comfortable and safe; if you’re expecting a yacht though it might not be for you. For an authentic, down to earth time with good people, providing excellent quality and service, you must book with this team!

Definitely the best way to see Capri! If you want a fabulous day trip to see the island this is the way to do it! Sal and Anna made us feel like family, and fed us a wonderful, home prepared lunch….good ol’ Italian family recipes! The pasta salad featured fresh veggies grown in Sal’s private garden, and homemade bread. YUMMM! Now for the day trip….not only were we able to see the entire island from the boat (hello green grotto, one of the most spectacular sights I have ever seen in all my years of travel!) but we had 4 hours to tour the island on our own. We also had a chance to swim in the most incredible blue-green water. Completely optional of course! The grottos we saw were only accessible by boat, so one would never have seen these areas simply by walking around the island. Do yourself a favor and support this wonderful family run business. You will love them and will be so happy having them share their little slice of paradise with you!

We had a fabulous trip Sal and his lovely daughter were friendly and informative, the whole trip was amazing there was 13 of us and we given a meal, went swimming in the sea, and got some great views - highly recommended!

We saw some beautiful sights on the trip. In fact we took two trips with them - amalfi coast and capri (which was probably too much in retrospect). I want give a shoutout to Anna for having a ton of lositive energy. They pick nice choices for swimming spots (bring your own snorkel gear if desired as the water is clear), great views of both coasts; have bathroom and shade on boats; prompt pickup, and all as promised. BUT, that said, there are some downsides to this particular company (not sure if others are more expensive as a result) they use slow, old fishing boats (hence ride to amalfi takes 2 hours), in poor repair, which both vibrate and roll on waves more than any other boat on the sea. So make sure you take dramamine if you get seasick.

Sal and Anna were fantastic hosts! They showed us so much of the coast and of Capri and explained a lot of the history. We spent a few hours exploring Capri, had a great time swimming in the beautiful blue water, and later they served the fish we caught as part of the lunch.
