Casa Museo Del Campesino

(Pass by)

After a transfer of about 20 minutes from your hotels, we will meet the rest of the group at the Monumento al Campesino. Located in the geographical center of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the Casa-Museo del Campesino, is the work with which César Manrique recognizes the efforts of the peasants of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monument to Fecundity, also known as the Monument to the Peasant. It is a construction of more than 15 meters, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old boat water tanks, assembled iron and concrete objects, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become in one of the iconographic symbols of the island.

La Geria

We will leave the Monument behind and in about 30 minutes we will arrive at La Geria, which is a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote in which vineyard plantations abound. With a volcanic landscape and an arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. The presence of vineyards on land like this is unusual. We will stop at a winery to try a shot of this wine.

Echadero de Los Camellos

After half an hour of walking, the camel stall whoever wishes can take a walk of about 20 minutes on the back of this beautiful animal. Those who do not want it can visit a small museum about the history of camels on the island of Lanzarote

Admission Not Included

Timanfaya National Park

After a beautiful 20-minute drive from our last stop, we arrive at the Montañas del Fuego. They are the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A whole spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometers of extension are part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanism activities in the world can be seen, both due to the immense amount of materials thrown by the fire, and due to its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 where the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.

Admission Included

El Lago Verde / Charco de los Clicos

From the Timanfaya in 20 minutes we reach this green lake located in the crater of a volcano that has become one of the main tourist attractions in Lanzarote.

The tour was amazing! Both Martin (the guide) and the driver were great and very organised. Both sides of the bus were great to sit on for the Timanfaya park. The tour itself was wonderful with a good amount of time in each location. The pick up was easy and it was a great way to see many of the sites without a car. Highly recommend!

It's definitely worth it especially when travelling solo. Make sure you have your camera/phone charged. Bring a power bank. Very quick stops 15 to 30mins at each place but to be honest, you wouldn't want to spend much time at each place anyways, especially if you want to cover a lot of sights in that short amount of time. Wine tasting was an added bonus. Although I would have loved some more demonstration/explanation at the winery but it was too busy. Overall I will still give this a 100% recommendation, enjoyable as solo , family or group. And again get ready to meet very lovely tour guides!

Sites were amazing to see and the bus driver did a great job threading through the mountains. However if you were looking for a smaller tour group like us with small children this may not suit. The trip was advertised to be for max 55 people, however, we joined another tour which was on a cramped hot double decker bus of 87 seated passengers.

Highly recommend the half day trip that I did. Timanfaya is a must see if you go to Lanzarote. A well organised trip with an excellent guide.

Whole day trip.., A long day, but you see all that Lanzarote has to offer.. REALLY good use of time. The caves at the beginning do require some good footwear…..beware! Seeing the Timanfaya park in detail was utterly brilliant. The Tour was just right - stops short but expertly done. Driver was excellent - needed to be in theTimanfaya National Park. Guide was exceptional. I would recommend this all day trip to everyone..

We had a fantastic tour, the tour guide was very informative and welcoming. Bus was good, air con and comfortable. We were picked up from Arrecife, a 10min walk from the hotel which was nice as we hadn’t been that far at that side of the city. A small bus picked us up and took us to The Monumento, a monument which represents peasant farmers that worked the land with use of camels. We had 5-10mins before the big bus picked us up so we were able to explore the area. Once picked up, we stopped at the vineyard first which was a great start. We stopped at the camels, personally we thought €11 was a good price for something we’d never done before. The camels seemed very well looked after. The man was friendly and we had Singo. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for the camels. Which is cash only and paid on the bus on route. The volcano experience was very good, worth being on the tour as only tour buses are allowed on the Timanfaya route after the visitor Center. The views are phenomenal, however it is quite a wyndy road so not so great for those with travel sickness. The final stop was the green lake, a 3-5min walk from the bus, it is worth the short walk. The contrasting colours and coastal views are beautiful. We also took a walk down to the black sand beach which was back at the very start of the walk to lake verde. We got dropped off where we were picked up and have no complaints. A very good tour, guide and driver.
