Garden of Villa Barbarigo in Valsanzibio

Known as one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy, the Giardino di Valsanzibio is now famous all over the world. Il Giardino is located in Galzignano Terme, a small town in the heart of the Euganean Hills. This area, from the beginning of the fourteenth century, was preferred by the Venetian nobility as the perfect location for their wonderful Venetian Villas: it was a symbol of economic power and, at the same time, an oasis of peace and tranquility.

Beautiful in all seasons, but magical in spring. I recommend everyone an unhurried visit, it's really worth it. Inside the garden a small kiosk allows for a refreshing break.

The garden of Valsanzibio is a fascinating and unique place for its beauty, elegance and the spiritual meanings it recalls. In contemporary terms we could say that it is a holistic place where culture and emotions manifest themselves. The place is perfectly maintained by the owner and the numerous gardening staff. A 10/10 also goes to the guide Sara who accompanied us on the visit with competence and professionalism, illustrating the historic garden in an exhaustive and exciting way. Absolutely worth seeing!

I went back for the second time. One cannot help but be amazed by the vastness of centuries-old plants present in this garden. The advice I can give is to take a guide who, with incredible preparation, explains step by step the entire route of the garden with the various curiosities about the many statues and various fountains. Maintenance is good although perhaps a touch of whitening to the statues most marked by time would enhance them even more. The rabbit island and the presence of the black swan are very cute. Inside the garden there is also a labyrinth made up of very ancient box hedges.

In ogni caso molto carina.
