The Tower of London is a historic landmark with a rich past, but it may not be worth the ticket price for some visitors. While the Tower offers an interesting look at history and the architecture is stunning, the crowds and high ticket prices may make the experience less enjoyable for those paying full price.

The tour guides are amazing. They have so much knowledge and drop a few jokes to keep the tour more interesting. Seeing the Crown Jewels takes your breath away.

Buy tickets at the kiosk outside the Tower of London instead. By purchasing this, you are only buying tickets that are available at the kiosk right outside the Tower of London. The prices would have been lower for our kids if we had bought tickets at the kiosk. You need to wait in line at the kiosk even if you purchase the tickets here- they don’t email you the tickets and they are not available on Ticketmaster. So we ended up waiting in line at the kiosk to collect our more expensive tickets than the tickets we could have purchased once we got to the front of the line. Also, the tour advertised here is a tour available to all ticket holders. The tours with the beefeaters start every 30 minutes at the Tower of London. I definitely recommend going to the Tower of London, but just buy the tickets there. They don’t seem to limit the number of tickets, our tour group had maybe 50+ people in it. The line for the Crown Jewels is super long. If you want to see the Crown Jewels, I would recommend entering early and heading straight inside to the building that holds the Crown Jewels. The have turnstiles outside it (like at Disneyland) and the line overflowed the turnstiles and was too long - we didn’t want to wait in that in the rain, although many people did wait. Overall, we highly recommend the Tower of London, but there doesn’t seem to be a benefit of buying the tickets here.

Very interesting tour guide with lots of good information. History goes back such a long way. We learned a lot and had beautiful weather.

There was no better way to start our time in London than with a Yeoman Warder tour of the Tower of London. We were incredibly lucky to have Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly (aka #Beefy409) as our guide. He was witty, charismatic, and made the tour incredibly informative and entertaining!

Beefeater's tour very interesting and lively. Great to see the Crown Jewels for the first time ever...

Despite crowds, we were able to enjoy what we saw. We decided not to see the Crown Jewels, given the queue, but it seemed to move quite quickly. Each part of the Tower of London is unique...all buildings within have their own styles and there are different types of guards/wardens with different uniforms... Also approachable and friendly. The downside is accessibility... There are clearly things that people with mobility issues cannot see. Understandably there aren't lifts, but if you go, at least you will know what to expect. The grounds themselves are impressive and it looks bigger from the outside. I thought I would have needed more time, but we were done within two hours. For me, the most impressive area was the medical palace.

Great tour for all ages, the tour guide was so funny and knowledgeable. The Crown Jewels is a bonus to view and torture chambers so interesting.

The iconic London fortress, prison, and now museum is not a cheap visit, but it’s definitely worth a stop on any tour of the city. The Crown Jewels are magnificent to behold while the extensive exhibits at the Armory are worth an hour at least by itself. The kids were particularly excited about the interactive displays at the very end of the Armory exhibit in the White Tower. There are fun games for kids to try their hand at archery, swordsmanship, and musketry.

The tour was very confusing. You needed more information that it isn’t a tour just the entry to London Tour. The Yeoman time is included in the entrance fee, not a separate tour. Please be clearer in your information. I had sent a message to clarify and didn’t get a response from you.
