Teguise Market

Traditional street market. Every Sunday morning, the silence and tranquillity of its streets and squares give way to the hustle and bustle of many stalls and artisans taking part in the most popular street market in the Canary Islands.

The market was huge and was good to walk around even though some stalls were the same. The island after was beautiful. Guide was very knowledgeable. Meal was paella not something I would normally eat but the bread was tasty

The trip was very well organised and our guide was informative. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the lunch was and that wine was also included. All in all a very good day out.

Was nice but we didn't see too many things about Graciosa and we didn't use the catamaran only for lunch.

Loved Teguise Market and had time to explore the quaint village. We then travelled Orzo for the ferry. Our guide, Rachel, was really good and explained places we passed in 3 languages. We boarded the ferry to la Graciosa but the weather was not that great which on a good day the island and its beach would be lovely but we wondered around and a group of ladies were singing traditional songs with a ukulele and tambourine in one of the bars close to the ferry. Lunch was on board another ship and there was plenty of salad, bread, paella wine, beer and glorious honey rum. My only complaint is that despite booking in plenty of time it took 2 emails (no response to either) and a telephone call which gave us the time and vague pickup point with a promise of confirmation which never came. Wonder we got the tour pickup

First of all Rachel, our tour guide, made the day together with Manalos our driver. We were picked up on time and joined up with the other travellers at Teguise Market and had slightly more than the 2 hrs here. La Graciosa was a lovely island and had the weather been a bit better we would have explored more. The group of lady musicians singing in the bar made the day. Lunch was served on another boat by the crew and as much wine , bread and paella as we wanted, together with the delicious honey rum. A really enjoyable 9 hrs trip. My only complaint is the admin, despite booking early enough I sent 2 emails two days before pickup as we had not heard and then rang the day before to be told me I was on the wrong island then said it was 8.20 pickup and vague directions of where to be with promise of follow up email not received and it was a fluke we got picked up at all.
