We had a fantastic day! Everything so beautiful! Group was so fun! Cyril and William went out of their way to make our experience unforgettable.

Will was an awesome, attentive and engaging host for our full day tour into the French Alps. The two hour train ride up into the Alps was a little tedious but well worth the trip. Our time in La Brigue was fantastic. Lovely lunch outdoors at a great cafe and a nice, small (not sure why we didn't get to do the longer hike) hike to cap it off. The bus ride to Saorge was exhilarating and the time we spent in this mountain village was incredible. Learning the history and seeing stunning view after stunning view was just what we had hoped for. I highly recommend this tour if you enjoy getting away from the throngs of people in touristy areas like Nice or Monaco, great way to spend the day.

Cyril and William were fabulous guides. Very informative and humorous. Would recommend! Each village was a gem

Will was our tour guide and he was incredible! He provided pictures and history about what we would see on our tour while our train climbed into the Alps. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyed educating our entire group. He was easy to get along with too (fun personality, which is always appreciated). The actual experience (the train ride, the sights, our lunch, and the hike) were second to none during our time in Nice. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone. 100%.

We spent a wonderful day with Cyril riding through the French Alps by train. Cyril prepared delicious treats for us and shared the history of La Brigue and Saorge. Hiking through the villages was like walking back in time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and history of the area with us. The journey was spectacular and Cyril is simply the best!

This was an amazing day. The views were amazing, the knowledge of the guides, the whole experience was first rate.

The trip was way more than I expected. Views from the train were ok, hard to see from the windows but our guide, Will did a good job showing us pictures and pointing out landmarks. Once we disembarked the trip became Amazing. Quaint villages, spectacular lunch, and a nice hike afterwards. I highly recommend this trip.

This trip was lots of fun. Our guide Will was friendly and informative. We saw several small towns and tons of beautiful scenery! We would definitely do this tour again!.

If you have been to Nice and experienced the city and the promenade, why not bring one day to the Alps? We booked a tour by Tripadvisor and met Will outside the train station in Nice. Will guided us through the valleys and tunnels and had good knowledge about the small towns we went through. We stopped in La Brigue and went through the village with narrow paths and in to the church. A lot to see. Lunch at a local restaurant, no hurry. The last part was the town Saorge, which was spectacular. We had an interesting day and got to see more than we could have planned ourselves. The tour is highly recommended.

We enjoyed our three days in Nice, but the family agreed that this was a highlight of the trip. Cyril, the tour guide, was exceptional. He is getting his PhD in history and certainly knows his stuff, but importantly, he really cares about people, connecting with them and making sure they’re happy. Great sense of humor, provided fantastic context to the history of the area, etc. I can’t speak highly enough about him. We didn’t have to do really any hiking on our trip, although I know it is mentioned in the details on the website. We were able to catch a van up to the chapel in La Brigue, which was nice. In Saorge, you do hike up through the compact village to get to the monastery. We had two elderly folks with us, 75 to 80 years old, and they were fine with the amount of walking we did, although if the itinerary was different or the van wasn’t available, they wouldn’t have been able to complete it in time. Lunch, chatting with the other tourists, was very pleasant. Sadly, I’ve heard that this valley will be cut off from the train for 16 months starting in late summer 2024. If you have a chance to experience this tour before, then, I highly recommend it! All of the folks in each of the villages were very happy to see us, very friendly.
