We went on a private tour of the Castle and Trani. The castle had great views and Trani had gorgeous views of the marina. WE even had lunch on the water overlooking the beautiful boats. We had some delicious gelato too! Vito entertained us with stories about Italians and their culture. He's so interesting and has so much knowledge. It's clear he's been a tour guide for many years and is a professional. We highly recommend Vito's tour services. He's the BEST!

This is the best, and most efficient, way to see these sites. We were in the company of our travel guide, Vito, who took us through the Italian countryside directly to Castel del Monte where he gave is context and appreciation of this monumental building. He then took us to Trani where we saw the papal buildings and the magnificent cathedral--unfortunately closed for renovation. The exterior however was awesome particularly since it was built along the seafront, and has a spectacular setting. Do go and get Vito as your tour guide--you'll love the day outside of Bari.

Thanks to Amici di Bisceglie we got to know the nearby art city of Trani better, which I knew was famous for its particular type of marble (Trani stone), but not for the rich production of extra virgin olive oil and its good Moscato wine Also pleasant... is the large and fresh... municipal villa (especially these days after the lunch break...) which extends onto a terrace overlooking the sea and is surrounded by greenery, but... going down towards the beautiful tourist port formed by a natural inlet enclosed by two piers... the seaside Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino stands out, one of the first wonders of the city of Trani which is considered one of the most famous churches in Puglia

Trani viene definita la perla dell’Adriatico ed è una definizione perfetta. Il porto sembra due bracci pronte ad accogliere ed anche la posizione del Duomo sembra così collocato per questo scopo. Città pulita vivace ed accogliente. Idem Castel del Monte, lo si pensa come una roccaforte e invece lo ti scopre come luogo della ricerca scientifica e filosofica, un posto di pace.

Il mare e la Cattedrale di Trani rappresentano due gioielli unici, del mio ritorno nella bella e affascinante Puglia. E solo una mia grande AMICA, squisita e stupenda come la PUGLIA sa essere, potevano riportarmi a cose lasciate indietro di qualche anno. Poi la provincia di BRINDISI è una zona che ti resta nel cuore, tra la gente e le peculiarità di chi ti sa far stare a casa. Semplicemente chest', è (questo, è, come direbbe un'altra mia AMICA, napoletana).

Come non può piacerti un posto così? Caratteristico e da togliere il fiato… il panorama la basilica il mare e tutta la città ci e veramente piaciuta! Facile da girare e molto scelta per mangiare consiglio visita vivamente

Avevamo grandi aspettative e sono state tutte attese, consiglio questo tipo di esperienza per riusciate a visitare nel modo adeguato mete che altrimenti non sarebbero possibili in un week end, inoltre la profonda conoscenza della storia della Puglia ha reso L’esperienza indimenticabile.
