Your guided hiking adventure will start from our Info Point Ashàra located in Piazza San Vincenzo Departure scheduled about 2 hours before sunset to admire the spectacular beauty along the side of the Sciara del Fuoco. After a short briefing, the excursion will begin which will lead us up to the maximum altitude of 400m During the first 2 hours of trekking we will make 2 or 3 intermediate breaks to enjoy the view and immortalize the natural beauty of this wonderful landscape. On our way we will meet and visit the old island cemetery and cross the typical Mediterranean scrub. Once we reach the Sciara del Fuoco, we will stop to admire a magnificent sunset over the Aeolian archipelago and the spectacular “Strombolian” activity typical of the volcano. We will then return to the starting point through the typical Strombolian reeds and the old mule track.

We have made a trip to the Stromboli 400m viwing point. Organized by stromboli fire Trekking and LED from Giuseppe. A Tour with a lot of side Information to the Island, the Natur and the vulcano. We Catcher a clean night and saw a lot of Eruption. Wow. Thanks to Giuseppe, he made this exhausting Tour cross country an unforgetable experience.

Spectacular eruptions of flame in the darkness, almost like clockwork. The sight that makes the effort to get there (first by ferry to Stromboli and then the hike) worthwhile. Guiseppe was a very informative and helpful guide, doing his best to keep the group moving on the hike at a reasonable pace that suited all participants. This hike is relatively strenuous and the path is awkward and uneven at times, so not for everyone.

Started off a little suspect. Didn’t get the message to meet a little later than planned and once they did arrive it seemed a little disorganized. All that annoyance disappeared once we got under way. They know how long things take and when to get there. Also, although there are like 4-5 viewing areas at the top, Ashara has the top 2 so the best viewing opportunities. To be fair, they all are pretty good. Our guide Davide was fantastic. Make sure you have WhatsApp (and you’re logged in) and they will guide you to an amazing experience

We had a very nice hike . The views from the top were spectacular with hearing loud explosions every few minutes . Our tour guide Davide was great and made sufficient pauses when we had difficulty walking . Would definitely recommend this

Where else can you pretty much be guaranteed to see a volcano erupting? Guide was great. We must have had a good volcano day, every time a 'ohh' went up from the group the guide stopped whatever and looked up and smiled. It is a climb but we had some larger late 50's in group and all made it. I don't like heights. The walk up was Ok. Thankfully the walk down was even easier - you could not see the drops in the dark! This is a must do tour. You can see Stromboli lower down but you must also hear Stromboli.

The route is beautiful and we were able to see a lot of lava explosions, which were amazing! But personally, I believe there was a lot of input missing by the tour guides. There is so much knowledge about Stromboli to be shared that it is a pitty that the tour guide only stopped us 3 times during the entire tour to tell us something about Strombolli. And one of the guides didn’t even speak english, so if you were on the front of the tour and had a question/doubt, you had to wait for the entire tour to pass so that you could talk with the English spoken guide. Tour could be much better…

I was satisfied with the tour. Our guide Silvana was a great great, so passionate and informative. I was able to enjoy beautiful sunset and see an active volcano. We could hear the sound of explosion also, a worthwhile experience.
