Yet again a wonderful day! We arrived in enough time to enjoy everything on offer! Cold but sunny. The front of house staff as usual go above and beyond especially Georgia who has a contagious smile - as always! Lovely walk around the lake and a delicious ice cream half way around. Next was the park for the children then a delicious lunch at the central cafe. We love Trentham and try and visit as often as we can.

£12 each to be subjected to a handful of market stalls that had no reference to Xmas what so ever! Very muddy and lacked imagination. What a complete let down and waste of our time. The food stalls sold samosas and other nin-xmas related rubbish. Drinks were expensive and the mulled wine was luke warm at best. Nothing Christmas related except for the brass band that wouldn't have benefitted from a hint of Xmas and a tad more enthusiasm from the miserable people playing. Will not be going back

Last year's Christmas lights were amazing This year food stalls everywhere...Christmas lights not much there So disappointed 😞

Trentham is a nice walk is sunny summer weather but decided to pay £12 each for 2 tickets to their 2 Day Xmas Festival inside the grounds. The small Ice Sculptures were very good even though they only took up a s mall area around the ruined building, But as for for the rest, poor I'm afraid. Don't expect anything around the lake itself. Everything is based on the building side close to their cafe. There were Xmas lights but I thought that the area itself was lacking in atmosphere. A few rides for the kids and the usual Xmas songs, but a poor variety and quantity of food sellers...obvious by the long queues at the more popular ones. We live in expensive times but some food and drink prices were just too expensive for what you got. Mainly you are paying £12 to look at Stalls, and there were quite a few. Some of the food stalls were badly lit so you couldn't see clearly the stuff they were selling..This was our first and last visit to a Christmas Event here.

Really enjoyed the hole experience..got to see lots of wildlife, gray Heroin, white egrets, Bucks, Swans. Kingfisher, little cormorant. And the fairy trail was amazing. All them different fairy's. And the qr reading's was great. Loved the place that much I got the annual pass for the hole year. Good price too. And I brought 3 prints of the fairy's and 3 more badges to my collection. Staff were really good. I enjoyed the full English at the restaurant. Can't wait to see what's next one show, and monkey forest too. Something to look forward to as it's not open this time. Thanks for an outstanding experience.

Dreadful customer service. Membership arrangements are just dire. Put us off completely. Went to join but there was a power cut. Still managed to take payment for day visit and told we could put this against membership cost when next go. So c 2 weeks later we went. Yes you can put your day pass cost (with receipt which we had kept) but only against the one off annual payment. Guess what, if you go for direct debit it is 15% less but you aren’t allowed to put your previous day pass (which we would not have had if the power had been working) against direct debit. No offer of any sort and just told to lump it effectively. So we left. I messaged Trentham on their website complaints section and never had a response. Really very unimpressed.

Add the gardens to the shopping complex at the entrance and you could easily keep yourself busy for a day. I think we missed the gardens at there best but with the lake it was beautiful. Good walks. Well located cafes. Most of the walls looked as if they were wheelchair friendly.

The day time wildlife boat trip at Trentham was well worth £5 charge as it was above and beyond my expectations! You think it’s just a boat across the lake and back but then this guy ( the beaver ranger Harvey) starts talking. I was mesmerised! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about not only the beavers but all the wildlife there, the biodiversity , the history of the estate, the historic information about the extinction of beavers from uk and Europe and the importance of this reintroduction project and it’s effect on the biodiversity - that will encourage other insects, amphibians and wildlife turning back the clock restoring these habitats. We got to to the cafe at the other side of the lake and he stopped talking and I was actually sad!! But fortunately he started talking again and on the way back it was another wildlife discovery. At the end of our journey many of the visitors continued with more questions for him and he was able to answer them all. Well done Beaver ranger Harvey - if all young people had your knowledge, understanding and passion about wildlife the future of our world would be in safe hands.

We went for the first time on Thursday. The size of the gardens and the lake is immense. I really liked the statues and the otters carved into the tree. We were on a coach trip and were told to meet the driver at the entrance to Monkey Forest, but the map wasn't very clear so it was confusing where we had to meet him and how long it would take to walk there. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable day.
