This was by far one of the best walking tours I've done in a while. Not only did I get a tour of beautiful historic St. Louis (which I'd previously had a hard time finding the secret spots), but Tim is incredibly knowledgable. He is clearly a St. Louis history professional, but he's also measured in his storytelling approach. He provides a great range of stories, from the Civil War to Prohibition and combines it all with photos, newspaper headlines, and so much more. 10/10

We had such a nice walk! We went to Hammerstones for a burger after our tour, sat down and had a conversation with Denny Hammerstone and shared stories with him about Bloody Island.

Tim was very informative and knew his subject matter impeccably!! Very well versed and had a great speaking voice!

Tim did a wonderful job bringing his stories to life and was very knowledgeable. We had such a blast walking around with him that the hour just flew by! If you’re ever in the area, this tour is definitely worth taking.

Tim Metcalf was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and a good story teller. He was obviously passionate about the historical details of the stories he told and he told them animatedly.

Tim is an excellent story teller and he kept us engaged the entire time! Thanks Tim for a great tour and amazing true tales!

Tim was amazing! Had a fabulous time. Learned a lot about St. Louis and duels. Our whole family enjoyed the tour.

It was my second walking tour with Tim, and he again succeeded in bringing St. Louis history to life with his self-researched collection of stories of local events and personalities. How often did we as fellow St. Louisans find ourselves saying,”Wow, I never knew that.” The only downside: An hour of interesting facts seems to go by on ten minutes.
