Avoid Giovani who ripped us off . We originally agreed a price of 35 euros each for four of us . We drove 5 minutes to the street market where we walked up and down the market back to to pick up point . We were the driven another 5 minutes to the church where we were told we had a “special deal “ with reduced entrance . We were in the church for about 15 minutes when Giovani came to the exit to say we had taken a long time . When exiting the church we were told that we had to split into 2 tactics but not told why . The second driver eventually explained that the police were around and that Giovani was “breaking the rules” by having 4 people in the tuctuc. We stopped at the corner of the 4 statues and were told the time was up but we could e tend the time by paying a total of 100 euros each , we reluctantly agreed and were driven to the next stop , a small park with the giant fig tree where we had 5 minutes . We were then driven 5 minutes to the cathedral which was closed and told time was up ! At this point we were asked for 120 euros each ! We argued with Giovani but at this point several other tuctuc started to gather and as two of our party were female we ended up paying . Please avoid .

A fantastic tour of Palermo if you have small children who can’t walk the distance. There was a recent negative review and I believe you should ignore it. Francesco was great and used google translate to explain sites to us in English.
This is a must do if you’d like a quick tour of all the key spots in Palermo.

Terrible ride, Don't waste your money on this tour unless you want to see back alleys in a "TapeCul" in the back alleys of Palermo. Picked up outside the Palermo port, by our Tapecul driver, Francesco.
We had asked for a French-speaking driver when I asked him if he spoke French or English his answer was a little. I would say a few words in each language maximum
The first stop was in the port, in front of the marina. The driver points to the port and says this is the port no comment. We then start cruising through the back alleys where he then points to a church, then a few more turns and points out to another church. The other back alleys and we stop at a church, he sends us inside to see the nice sculpted columns and walls of the church, but the driver always stays outside, with no comment.
We then cross the old city center and the driver offers to leave us there so we could come back to the port by taxi, we declinde and then he drives us back to the port and says that's it all in 45 minutes. I tell him we paid for an hour tour and he tells me it's because we haven't visited the churches long enough. I PAID FOR A ONE-HOUR TOUR... Needless to say, he didn't get any tips.
Very bad experience, at 93 $us, a total Ripoff.

We didi a super city tour with an Ape. Our driver was super friendly, professional and calm. Highly reccomended to pay a little xtra - and have a GOOD experience ! And NB! We speak Italian - so just saying.

Our tour guide was Vicenzo and the 1 hour ride was a great way to get to feel the smells and colors of the city. We got to see some most important points of the city which with a toddler can be difficult by foot. So a great solution for couples with small kids. Vicenzo let us hop out of the tuktuk and take a look at some churches, take a stroll in a garden which was quite nice. We enjoyed it very much, he was really friendly and for every spot we visited he always explained what we were seeing. All in all, a great experience! Thanks Vicenzo :)
