Esperienza molto bella e suggestiva. Tutto ben curato: assistenza e pulizia del posto introducono piacevolmente a questo viaggio. Lo abbiamo scelto per scopi didattici per nostro figlio che quest'anno a scuola ha studiato gli egizi. Certo non siamo venuti a bologna apposta, ma visto che eravamo in città ci è sembrata una sorpresa originale. Il percorso virtuale è molto dettagliato e ricco di informazioni.Nostro figlio è rimasto entusiasta ed ha chiesto altri due percorsi: la bologna medioevale e il gioco di volo e uccisione dei mostri. Neanche a dirlo che con quest'ultimo si è molto divertito.

Come ho già anticipato dal titolo, questa visita è stata veramente una bella esperienza, sia dal punto di vista didattico che da quello della realtà virtuale. Abbiamo provato il viaggio virtuale dell'esplorazione della tomba di Tutankhamon, ed è stato molto emozionante. Ho apprezzato la ricostruzione virtuale di come è stata ritrovata la tomba da parte di Howard Carter senza aggiungere nulla. 18 euro veramente spesi bene.

Vestire i panni di Howard Carter vuol dire provare le stesse emozioni della scoperta, avvicinandosi ed afferrando gli oggetti funerari, fedelmente ricostruiti, con l’assistenza di gentili tutor.

Je ne m'attendais pas à vivre une expérience décevante en réservant pour les 2 films présentés par La Macchina del Tempo. Le film imaginé pour illustrer la découverte par l'archéologue Howard Carter de la tombe du célèbre pharaon est assez proche de la réalité. Les objets découverts dans la tombe ainsi que leur emplacement ont été fidèlement reproduits comme cela nous a été expliqué en préambule à l'attraction. Le film se propose de vous faire vivre cette découverte comme avait pu la vivre Howard Carter. Il y a donc très peu d'action et de sensation dans ce film. Vous avancez doucement sans forcément comprendre quel parcours vous devez faire ni dans quel ordre. Le film est en outre assez sombre. Je n'y ai trouvé pour ma part aucune émotion alors qu'on nous avait présenté cette attraction comme procurant beaucoup d'émotion. En fait, si le concept est séduisant, la mise en pratique de l'attraction est très compliquée, encore plus que pour le film sur Bologne. Vous disposez d'un casque lourd qui glisse avec lunettes 3D et écouteurs sur les oreilles. Vous disposez en plus dans chaque main d'une manette avec trois boutons sur chaque manette, que vous devez actionner à votre guise pour avancer dans le film, écouter des explications, saisir des objets, effectuer certaines actions. Vous êtes assisté par un opérateur qui surveille la bonne progression de votre parcours sur un écran de contrôle. Si vous vous trompez ou stationnez trop longtemps, il vous donne des indications orales, bien souvent inaudibles. Ma réservation prévoyait que je fasse cette attraction en premier. Elle a été déplacée en second sans qu'on m'en donne vraiment les raisons. J'ai compris pourquoi ensuite. Je n'en ai pas profité. Cela ne tient pas à la qualité technique de ces films ni nécessairement à leur conception. Cela tient au gap qu'il y a pour la mise en pratique qui suppose que le matériel marche correctement, que la langue proposée soit en adéquation avec la langue comprise par l'usager, que le fonctionnement soit simple pour l'usager et les actions à mener intuitives. Cette attraction est pour le coup très chère au regard du temps passé et du temps utile. Si vous êtes curieux, faites un essai en commençant par le film sur Bologne mais sans rien en attendre.
